Dooglus any plans for redesign of the site or some other coins?

No plans.

But clam seems very bad choice for gambling. There are so many way better coins. Thats why im wondering why clam why still not any other coins.

Why is CLAM a bad choice? It has 1 minute confirmations, is proof of stake, and has a low market cap.

JD switched from BTC to CLAM because its bankroll was too big. At one point the JD bankroll was 65k BTC. That's many times more than the entire CLAM market cap, so it can't get that big again.

The only thing I miss is a more stable CLAM client. It's annoying that the CLAM client doesn't sync the blockchain very reliably and needs to be restarted, but the bootstrap.dat file I provide mostly works around that shortcoming.

I wonder how much would be wagered per day if the website looked better and there was some marketing going on.

Well as proven many times people seem to stick to trust and integrity of the sites. Not rly in for design.

Just-Dice.com

Check out the gambling site I made.  It's a dice game, with the following features:

* low 1% house edge
* near-instant rolls
* off-the blockchain, so no blockchain spam
* high limits - currently you can win 21 31 58 75 90 114 129 142 153 219 291 BTC per roll* - and the limits go up daily
* win up to 1 million times your bet
* pick your own odds of winning
* lively on-site chat room
* provably fair (of course)
* roll "high" or "low"
* keyboard shortcuts for quicker, easier play

The really neat thing about it though is that you can also "be the house", and invest any balance you're not using in the site's bankroll.  Then when other players lose, you win.

For investors, here's the feature list:

* massive 1% house edge Wink
* investing is easy and instant; click the 'invest' tab for details
* take your investment out instantly too
* site operator (that's me) is a long-standing forum member in good standing with the community
* invest as little as 0.001 BTC; no upper limit
* net profit is split between the house and the investors as follows: house gets 10%, investors get 90%.

So now you can easily have your own share in a dice game without the hassle and expense of using stock exchanges, passthroughs, etc.  All investments received go instantly to the site's bankroll and increase the maximum bet size offered to players.  There's a separate thread in the Securities forum for discussion relating to Just-Dice investments.  I recommend that investors 'Watch' that thread since I'll use it to make announcements should I need to.

Just-Dice.com

I will credit the first 200 people who post their user ID (from the 'account' tab) in this thread with a free bitcent to get you started.  You are free to gamble, invest, or just withdraw it as you please.  Smiley Promo is over.  Thanks for taking part!

* the maximum profit per roll is currently 0.5% of the bankroll of the site.  The bankroll is provided by investors.  The bankroll has grown to become enormous, as can be seen by looking at the cold wallet address.

My investment was around 30 BTC negative (and I had paid commissions too for profit up to 30 BTC, can't remember exactly) when I divested. So I had plenty of room for commission-free investment. But then the currency was changed and now I have to start over again Sad. I remember people were even buying/selling accounts that were in the negative for feeless investing back in the days. I thought my account had some value that way, but looks like it was wiped out.

I have the same username on just-dice & here. The account hadn't gone anywhere, only the stats.

OK, I see what you mean.

All account information was reset when we reopened for CLAMs. I kept the original usernames and passwords around, but that's all.

The commission rate is only 10%. I've seen a few other dice sites charging 50%, so I think investors are getting a good deal at JD.

929 BTC will buy all the remaining clams on the entire market outside Just-dice at market price right now.

I wonder what would be the price if someone did that.

If they used a limit order @ the market price of that post, the price wouldn't go higher than their limit.

Withdrawing off Poloniex or whatever else would be HORRIBLE I would imagine... Maybe they'd lift the limits, but yuck.

It seems like a good play for those already holding lots of CLAM.

A market order buy with 929 BTC on Poloniex would put CLAM worth 8.9 BTC per CLAM (current record is 1 to 1 on Bittrex from a misclick lol).

Would it be possible to get the fee compensation back from BTC era? I'm not sure what would be a fair amount, but I remember being something like 30 BTC in the black when I divested and forgot about the site for years. I'm thinking about giving this another go.

*whispers*  Black means you were due to pay fees... I think you mean red.

Red= Negative
Black= Even
Green= Profit

Thanks for the correction, didn't remember it was even possible to end up with a debt. I wonder how many actually paid those.

Not debt, but you could have been 30 BTC in the negative... meaning you wouldn't pay dooglus commission until those 30 BTC were earned back.

I don't understand what you're asking for. What is fee compensation?
