Making investments less profitable one k BTC at a time lol.
Very very rarely does a whale even touch the max profit slightly as far as I have seen (maybe doog can elaborate)
That's true.
There's probably too much in the bankroll.
I guess what will happen is that people will drop out as the return gets smaller.
I don't spend any time looking to see what kinds of returns are available from other Bitcoin sites, so really don't know how Just-Dice compares.
Our recent weekly returns have been:
Mar 3 2014 -0.71%
Mar 10 2014 -0.14%
Mar 17 2014 0.41%
Mar 24 2014 0.80%
Mar 31 2014 0.79%
Apr 7 2014 1.35%
Apr 14 2014 0.90%
Apr 21 2014 1.01%
Apr 28 2014 0.85%
May 5 2014 0.56%
May 12 2014 0.32%
May 19 2014 1.05%
May 26 2014 0.35%
Jun 2 2014 0.22%
Jun 9 2014 2.06%
Jun 16 2014 0.22%
Jun 23 2014 0.83%
That's an average (adding them up and dividing by 17) of 0.64% per week or (multiplying by 52) 33.25% per year.
How does that compare with other places? I guess it's not fair anyway, since the bankroll is much bigger now than it was 17 weeks ago.
I hear there are a few sites that double your Bitcoins in 4 business days...
Doubling in 4days?
Other sites are new so investors take a chance that there will be some traffic and that the operator will not run away with the money
For exemple, ED was not giving any returns until a few big players came to play and lost big
33% a year is good enough for me, provided the website lasts for a couple more years or decades. If bitcoin becomes expensive enough it may make many of the early investors be able to live of the interest they receive from their investments.
Since bitcoin obviously does not earn you interest like fiat in banks does, you either need to accept permanently losing bitcoins every time you spend them, or you should invest in something so that you can spend bitcoin without losing your position.
That's why I love just-dice, I hope that someday soon I will be able to live of just the interest it makes me. That's why I hope it is sustainable.
The only thing it needs is a trustworthy admin (I believe Dooglus is very trustworthy) that keeps the site online and working fairly and users that like to gamble. (Seems to be fine for now, and hopefully we can keep attracting new members as bitcoin grows). But if bitcoin becomes large enough I might even consider trying to find other investors and collectively fund an advertising campaign. If it's going to make me a living I don't care what I have to invest in ads.
