A first in the Just-Dice community, an account was sold! I "kingofsports" sold my account (#11) to Banker. He bought it for 5 BTC. I am now #50298 sadly but a landmark event indeed, I wonder how much some of the low accounts will go for in the future!

Nope, I was first!

I sold the #1 and #2 to Doog for 0.00000001 BTC

I was offered 3BTC for my #7 earlier today, surprised how valuable Id's are haha. I guess big investors want to scoop up a rare # for themselves.
I guess it's like two-character domain names.

First impression of this site: very good overall, but the interface reminds me a bit of the control panel on the starship Enterprise --  lots of confusing buttons. It's not immediately clear what they all do, but now that my eyes have adjusted things are making a bit more sense.  Question: is there some way to manually set the client seed?

I wonder why you think you can claim you are the first to sell a JD account?

So your unbeatable system was just one bet from busting out three times in three hours?

I never said it was unbeatable. In fact, I've clearly stated the probabilities. One thing is for sure, this is not a ponzi (just read about the pirate SEC thing)... this is a gamble.

But to answer the question, yes, it was just one bet from busting out. Then, I post another screen capture, and wait for more "investors" for the second 7th bet in this run of "Dabs Investment Gambling Security" or just DIGS.. heheheheh.

just DIGS, playing on just-dice. 1% per day or 7% per week, (gambling, NOT ponzi). Guaranteed to lose in 2 million rolls or less.

The problem was that he paid it out manually because there are no 1300BTC in in the hot wallet.

He (or someone using his account) bet and lost those fake 1300 BTC, making investors think they had profited by 1300 BTC, but there were no coins on site backing those 1300 BTC.

Wait a darn minute. You mean you think it might've been the same guy?

Just kiddin. I did get a little chuckle out of that coindesk article, I'll admit it. Actually the first thing I thought when I skimmed the headline was "uh oh, doog exploited a bug on someone's casino", before I remembered it was your casino.

I'm surprised you didn't build a one-click system that deducts first, then processes the withdrawal and only rolls back the deduction on failure. (Not that that can't fail itself, if bitcoind returns failure when it actually succeeded -- happened to us once and we ended up paying a guy twice and told him just to keep it). Still, there's a good argument somewhere in here for foreign key checks, transactions and avoiding non-relational dbs when building the financial end of these systems...

Fun job, right?
