I would like to buy on this dip but apparently, like all of you I don't have the money to settle for that kind of investment even if it dips from $8700 USD to $7900 USD as of now, But the price really is hanging on and I think it will still going to return to $8000 USD and would even pierce the $9000 USD price at the time a dip happens, I guess that is what the movement of price of bitcoin is going at right now.

I don't have a lot of money to buy more bitcoin, and I prefer to hold what I have stored in my wallet and hope that in the future bitcoin can pump up high.
I can guarantee you that your hope will not be shattered, we all don’t have the money to be buying every dip that we see for trading which is why it will be better and much profitable if we keep holding our investment till we reach the peak, the only thing we just have to be careful with is not to get carried away or lost in our future though and forget to take profit when it is the right time.

It will be a great tragedy if after all these waiting, we still miss taking profit at the accurate ATH. That is why I have already set my future trade down for my coin to be sold at $18000, if it then passes that, I would not regret because I already have more than enough profit at $18k.

As of today as per CMC bitcoin is at $8,273.20 a slight dip from the $8,000+ level it already breached. This can be the mini-correction that some analysts predicted before bitcoin will finally go beyond the $9,000 level. It is time that we cheer bitcoin to hang on in the vicinity of $8,000+.

Are you buying more bitcoin at this stage?
Indeed it was a mini correction and shortly after your prediction, bitcoin started mooning again and I am hoping that this one we get us to the value we have predicted, although I can still see some correction, maybe we will get up to 3 corrections before reaching that value again.

I am already see this $8k as past in the next couple of weeks and I know that no matter what the case maybe, bitcoin at $10k is very sure this month and I can’t wait for this prediction to be true. I have some percentage of coin to sell to further my education while I keep the rest till when it’s time for everyone to pull back after the ATH.

This is weakness showing from a break of weekly trend.   We are still within a bullish channel roughly as placed here, likely I think a bounce occurs before further weakness and a good test of this large up move

daily bars, 50 day is 7000 aprox and 200 day is still about 4500 and I'd like a proper reset to there as healthy for Bitcoin overall

Ouch, bears finally showed their teeth! That drop to $7,700 happened fast. We're still hovering near $8,000 and bulls are trying to hold onto this range but the threat of more blood is looming.

The best case scenario is a repeat of the April 25th dump.....sideways for several days and then a quiet transition back to uptrending.

If the $8k will not hold I am guessing that there will be a massive dip on the coming days or week. I guess this $8k is a blessing in disguise, can't wait to get some more with that.

I'm still continuing to DCA as I have been for the last several months, but I'm making less trades than I usually do in this choppy little range we are currently in for now. Just holding a low-leveraged long at the moment waiting for a move in the upwards direction as I believe we'll continue up after this chop is done. Seems like a lot of indecision in the markets right now to me as we continue to sit around the mid-$8000s.

I dont think I am buying now. I've got enough. (although I really want more) Maybe I will wait for now.
I'm in a similar position right now. I did most of my buying below $4000 and planned to dollar cost average all the way to the $6000 mark, but in a very short period of time my plan ended up right in the bin.

It could be a stupid decision not to buy more at today's prices, but I rather wait and let the market do its thing, which is to firmly correct after a parabolic rise. It's only a matter of time.

At least, if the price ignores everything and continues to go up, our main hodl stack will still put a smile to our face. People without a hodl stack are the ones who need to make a move--owning some BTC is better than owning zero of it.

volume still hasn't really come in yet---not like we saw in the $5000 (early april) and $8400 (mid may) areas. you can see we had significant (either time or price wise) corrections off those levels. corrections usually follow high volume exchanges. so the fact that we haven't seen comparable volume yet off this $9k consolidation tells me we're still probably gonna go higher.

onwards to $10k? Smiley

Some bearish article equipped with their own TA said that it is possible that Bitcoin can experience some price drop.  They believed that Bitcoin is somehow overbought this past days and correction is coming in because sign of bull exhaustion was seen. $10k  Bitcoin may probably be delayed until next month unless Bitcoin market proves that this kind of prediction is wrong.

If you see the market carefully you will realize that there is still room for further increase.
I don't know if now is the right time to by, but as I see the market stabilizing around 8000$ there will be more options for investors to push the price higher.

I admit that its better if they bought coins last $4,000 mark but if they didnt buy, its also profitable if they buy now. I believe that the price increase is just in its half and another half is waiting to get earned.
Its not too late to invest on bitcoin cause price might reach $20k again before the year ends, there is still lots of time to accumulate bitcoin as many as you can before the true bull run starts
But you must have a high patience when bitcoin touch an ATH again. An instance when bitcoin price touch new ATH om 2017 ago i.e around $20.000 but when correction came bitcoin price had jumped drastically and touched at the lower price $3200 a year ago. At that situation what will you do when late to sell it before its price touched the lower price even you are still hold till this time, I guess you choice is hold as much as you can. And that is possible when bitcoin price find  a new ATH then its price most likely will meet the same thing as a two years ago.

Is it still wise to buy now?

Let us get real. It is scary.
That fast paced pump is really something that cannot be ignored by any crypto currency follower.
It is almost like the same as before and investing with it will have a higher risk that it was 3 months ago with slow movements.

I dont think I am buying now. I've got enough. (although I really want more) Maybe I will wait for now.

when every signal on the charts and every signal in the market from the market participants (aka the traders) is telling us that a big rise is going on with a lot of money that was waiting on the sidelines for that signal coming back in bitcoin, to ignore such things is foolish in my opinion. we are not just hanging on, we are passing by!

as for buying, of course i am buying as i have always been buying becaue i accumulate bitcoin with any extra cash i have in my pocket that i don't need. i am here for the long haul!

Gotta tell you I'm happy bitcoin is hitting $8000, but it seems to be rising too fast.  So am I buying bitcoin to hold right now?  No.  I'm actually buying a few altcoins that have gotten the smackdown in the past year or so, with the hopes that they'll rebound to the levels they were at in 2017-18.  Yep, I'm gambling.

Wasn't just the speed that got me worried too, it was the real lack of volume and other fundamentals

Wasn't just the speed that got me worried too, it was the real lack of volume and other fundamentals -- but now with volumes rising, Bitcoin mining difficulty at a new all time high, I'm probably going to concede in saying that I'm more convinced that this rise is sustainable... the only problem is it still comes "too soon" after the fall. I'd have loved this absolutely in 2020, alongside halving, but 2019 still feels premature even with the accompanying strengths.

Probably the smart move to get into altcoins if you're the gambling type really, so no harm done there.

I think that this stage is the best to buy bitcoins, following the teachings of Wyckoff's theory we are in the accumulation stage, and according to this stage in bitcoin the volatility is very high and consists in eliminating the offer, and that is when the bitcoins are cheaper. According to this we have that it is the best stage for investors and buy to wait for bitcoin to reach its bullish stage.

I like this idea, and no it is not gambling, it is a wise decision IMHO. Why would we left ourselves be caught in a surging price of BTC?  Investment wise, I believe that this is not the time buying BTC.  It was way back when BTC were around $3k+.  Looking at altcoin investment at this point is a good diversion.

That said, if there's a big dip I may indulge myself and buy some bitcoin to hold for a while.
