It's slowly gaining its price back again and it stepped on the $8500 this time.

Bitcoin might stay a little bit of its stable price this week and might break that $9000 resistance soon.

Are you buying more bitcoin at this stage?

I am not buying. Even 3000$ was high price to me.
Yes, no one push me to buy a whole bitcoin or at least a half, but I do not see it as good idea to invest in it even 100$ today.
Some of you may say that it's 100$ today and tomorrow I'll have 200$ from this kind of investment, but I'll better move my old strategy - just to collect bitcoins and altcoins from paid work on the forum and out of it.

No guts no glory, no cheap bastard ever got rich off crypto.

it's looking surprisingly stable above $8400 now! Smiley

i was ready to watch a waterfall below $8k yesterday! now it actually looks like this might just hold and continue higher in a couple days.

I just had a quick glance at coinmarketcap today, price is $8400, did it really dip as low as $8200 or I'm just out this past couple of days that I missed some action.

actually, it hit $8000 on stamp and bitfinex. even a bit lower than that on coinbase. coinmarketcap only shows line charts. if you wanna see the price extremes, you have to load up bar or candlestick charts like those at cryptowat.ch.

Hey, do you make a big difference between $300 and $500 ups or downs? I don't.
Why bother so much if Bitcoin costs $500? We've seen Bitcoin doing this a lot of times, and again recently over the last 2 months where we've seen several $300 ups/downs.
I think It's something people have to get used to seeing in the next few weeks, (considering BTC continues its trend)

The place to buy is on strength which is what I measure on the line for 8500.
It is still on the rise where the last bump and dump rule each out on the weekly chart. If no bears showing up this will get some upwards trend again and 8500 and up will be in the picture indeed.

I did a little addition to my folio just this morning lol

Good for you, there are people who says that they wanted to buy bitcoins, but when the opportunity shows in their face, they don't have the balls and still waits for the price to go lower. But then when the price goes up, they keep on bitching around that they have miss such golden opportunity.

Gotta tell you I'm happy bitcoin is hitting $8000, but it seems to be rising too fast.  So am I buying bitcoin to hold right now?  No.  I'm actually buying a few altcoins that have gotten the smackdown in the past year or so, with the hopes that they'll rebound to the levels they were at in 2017-18.  Yep, I'm gambling.

Never thought that you're into altcoins, but why not, ETH is a classic example, down to as low as $80, now making a ran to $300, huge money already gain if everyone has bought during the lows.

The place to buy is on strength which is what I measure on the line for 8500.   I think the graph for this time last year (roughly) demonstrates why 8500 could be a good price to observe as a measure and judgement of greater direction then just this week

daily bars, july end '18

Of course it might find 8500 as resistance tonight but also go back to 8000 and bounce again and then later exceed 8500, its never easy but I think 8500 is my pivotal price to watch right now.

The action that followed Jul 2018 was red daily bars everyday until we got to 6000 which is quite definite action, Im wondering if that might repeat

this is your choice, to which I realize you do not believe that this market will survive for many years. But this is a very bad thought, imagine if all the people of the world were like you? nobody would buy bitcoin and not any altcoin and if nobody bought any altcoin, then no one would create altcoins and you would never participate in any campaign because there were no altcoins

Don't like to give financial advises, but I'm sure there's a lot of 'noob's investors as early as this stage who doesn't want to miss the boat and probably getting in at ~$8000.

@Bezobraznike - good strategy dude, if you don't want to shell out then you might as well wait for your weekly signature campaign payments.. No investment, just pure work.  Grin.

But I guess 'smart' investors are going to take advantage of any situation in the ecosystem, and buy at any dip and accumulate more.

This can be the mini-correction that some analysts predicted before bitcoin will finally go beyond the $9,000 level.
This is the 2nd correction we've had this month, the other one was a few weeks ago when we went down to the low 7k's (almost touching the high 6k's) after the massive rally from 5k to 8k. The drop yesterday was bound to happen after that massive green candle which pumped the price from 8k to 8.8k in just a few hours last sunday, which was fallowed by a sudden increased yesterday to almost 9k, a mark that someone probably thought it was a good price to cash out.

We tested the 7k floor during the first correction and it held pretty well, we tested the 8k floor and same thing happened, seems to me like we're gonna test 9k and above pretty soon, just a gut feeling.

But for those of you who are buying bitcoin now, it's not a stupid idea by any means.  There may be very strong legs on this bull, and bitcoin could be headed back toward its ATH.  In fact I hope it does, but I don't want to see bitcoin at $20k this year or early next year.  If it gets there too quickly, it'll crash and probably even harder than it did in 2017.

If it crosses the current ATH it's likely that the rally will continue for a while bringing new people onto the FOMO train. Right now a lot of people are hesitant and waiting to see where the price is heading.

Anecdotally, in the past several weeks I've received calls from people I haven't heard from since 2017 searching for advice 'when to get in'.  Cheesy Sadly, my crystal ball is busted, but it seems to me that $10k is the psychological level many are waiting for.

This can be the mini-correction that some analysts predicted before bitcoin will finally go beyond the $9,000 level.

It was already anticipated. I considered yesterday's drop as a normal price movement after a sudden increase.

After all, the price bottom established this day is the price where we at just a few days ago so the downtrend happened isn't a really big deal after all.

Are you buying more bitcoin at this stage?

Not for now. My mindset of buying BTC was already executed prior to the start of the continuous uptrend.

Any plans? Yes but unfortunately large portion of funds were already used. No regrets however for an obvious reason.

Yes, I already buy some bits, not too big because I still waiting if there is any dip that might happen later Grin

But I already have another bit that is ready to sell at the high price if somehow, the price increases later. So I hope that this time or the next day, I can make a profit at a high price. I am sure many of us still waiting for the next highest price.

As of today as per CMC bitcoin is at $8,273.20 a slight dip from the $8,000+ level it already breached. This can be the mini-correction that some analysts predicted before bitcoin will finally go beyond the $9,000 level. It is time that we cheer bitcoin to hang on in the vicinity of $8,000+.

The picture really speak volumes and it do explain what is currently happening in bitcoin pricing. I believe that it is a very little reset and we are going to resume the uptrend before Monday next week. We are seeing a very clear upward trend but market cannot continue facing one side.

As expected, everything that comes up must come down. But the good side of this small correction, it has recovered quickly which signifies its growth and dominance.

Unlike before when it dumps, we witness on how its plummeting so fast and looks like a little hope of recovering. I haven't bought when it was down to $8200 but I didnt sold that much to maintain my asset standing.

I did a little addition to my folio just this morning lol

That is a good decision. There is a small dip right now and we can use this opportunity to add more bitcoin into our 'hodlings.' Not that there is a guarantee here but for me it can be safe to assume that definitely bitcoin will soon be breaching the $10,000 zone...and it is just a matter of time. Bitcoin is gathering all its energy and strength for a big showdown before the end of 2019 and into 2020.
