The rising of bitcoin is pretty fast amd its a bit dangerous to invest, but the trend is still positive and the market also perform well, its better to be cautious, for me its not the right time to buy, unless you are aiming for long term, if you want to buy now you need to pay attention to the market

At this stage i still think is a good option to buy, but i think will take a lot of time to get a profit, but for long run is a good investment. Indeed on short time maybe the price will drop again.
Buy now and buy again if there’s another dump this is my simple activities during this sideways moment, its boring actually because of small pumps but of course long term is what matter most. Bitcoin is hanging on, he’s not giving up so we must also not give up. Bitcoin will hold and it will climb up, i don’t want to see another bear market, bitcoin will not disappoint us again.

The fact is that whenever you see short term rallies like this, it will be followed by a period of adjustments as the market cools down from all the fomo, as well as due to the innate cycles that exist with any asset that's trading on the open market.
This is part of it and it happens in forex trade, so I understand it when it goes back and a pullback will be expected in most times.

As to whether or not I'm still accumulating, I'm still doing so, just at a lower pace due to the fact that the majority of my fiat has been converted already to BTC at the $4-7k levels. I'd still recommend averaging out buy orders nonetheless, though, if you're interested in investing for the long run.

I guess you are holding on for $10,000  Grin because that is the next point of price hanging.

As of today as per CMC bitcoin is at $8,273.20 a slight dip from the $8,000+ level it already breached. This can be the mini-correction that some analysts predicted before bitcoin will finally go beyond the $9,000 level. It is time that we cheer bitcoin to hang on in the vicinity of $8,000+.

Are you buying more bitcoin at this stage?

No, I've switched to alts.

What tends to happen when a bull run starts and the markets turn green is that bitcoin leads the way. This is obviously true of new money coming into crypto, with bitcoin being effectively the fiat gateway (yes, you can buy a few top cap alts with fiat, but it's mainly BTC). So people see BTC going up from the new money, and they FOMO, sell their alts to buy more BTC, and BTC rises further.
Once BTC price increases start to slow down, a lot of people then look at alts - which now look undervalued against their historical BTC price. Plus you have the new money that came from fiat to BTC, has seen some profit, and now wants to branch out to other coins. So then alts take over the bull whilst BTC takes a back seat.
I'm not saying this always happens, but it has happened enough times in the past to become quite a good indicator of how the markets might play out.

One more point is that I'm not a fan of huge unbroken price rises. They tend to be unsustainable. I'm much happier with a rise that pauses for a while to establish a new support level before building up again. We all know what happened in 2017, and when the fall started no-one knew just how far it should drop, because the mega-rise had not built in any support.

Throughout the past week BTC prices have been pretty stagnant. A lot of people are surprised by this but I don't think that this is anything out of the ordinary per se.

The fact is that whenever you see short term rallies like this, it will be followed by a period of adjustments as the market cools down from all the fomo, as well as due to the innate cycles that exist with any asset that's trading on the open market.

I don't think that this time round, the correction will be that large at all, due to the fact that people realise that a bull market is already underway and that the market sentiment has reversed completely from the bottom of the bear market. I think that $8k will be effective as a support, given the fact that the correction 1-2 days ago saw an immediate rebound from the $8.5k level.

As to whether or not I'm still accumulating, I'm still doing so, just at a lower pace due to the fact that the majority of my fiat has been converted already to BTC at the $4-7k levels. I'd still recommend averaging out buy orders nonetheless, though, if you're interested in investing for the long run.

I am not buying. Even 3000$ was high price to me.
Yes, no one push me to buy a whole bitcoin or at least a half, but I do not see it as good idea to invest in it even 100$ today.
Some of you may say that it's 100$ today and tomorrow I'll have 200$ from this kind of investment, but I'll better move my old strategy - just to collect bitcoins and altcoins from paid work on the forum and out of it.
Of course, if you're just an average earner, you really can't afford those prices. That's why only invest what you can afford or just find a way to accumulate. But when it comes in making profit, of course you'll left behind. If you aren't eager to earn big then just stick with the strategy you know and we'll ride the rocket.

I respect your decision, dude. We have different strategies. Yours is the safest way of investing. Even me, I can not afford to buy 1 bitcoin, too. But i bought other coins and a part of bitcoin. So far, the results are good. The corrections is also the good way to buy more. If you know how to read indicators, etc. You can easily decide when to buy or not. Anyhow, bitcoin at $3,000 is really a cheap price before and glad i bought some part before the $8,000 showed the market.

Bit of a crush going on, with 8500 holding probably for the weekend ?    The blue line is 8 day average price with us feeling more negative if that is compromised.    I would only guess immediately on a retest of 8200 if that should occur, this is just short term stuff

the problem with the "short term stuff" is that they are always hard to rely on due to the nature of the market. for example the recent big swing up and down to $9k+ and down to $8000 showed that there is still two sides in the market fighting each other, the one side wanting to go up and breakout and the other wanting to keep the price down and prevent big jumps.

Depends on the market conditions actually, so there are certain moments that can make me think of buying more bitcoin. not just looking at support, but i'm prefer more to the potential from the fundamental, see how people and media reacts by this growth.

The best bet is to continue to buy at this time when the price of bitcoin is undergoing correction it has pullback to $8200 yesterday now it has pump to $8500 with a little volatility obviously within the shortest time $9000 will be reached the best option is to keep hanging on for a long term profits.

@CryptoBry the correction in bitcoin prices was bound to happen, though it won’t last for long as bitcoin prices will rally from current levels. As of today bitcoin prices has already recovered to $8.5k levels, and very soon it should be able to cross $9k levels. I have been buying bitcoins everytime it dips, and will continue to buy some bitcoins in small quantities if it dips again in coming days.

I am not buying more, but I am holding. Throughout the bearish period, I managed to save some BTC, and now I am waiting for ATH to sell. Of course, from time to time I sell some of it, especially when I need money, but I am patiently waiting for the time when my savings are worth enough to make a real difference in my life. I think it's okay that Bitcoin is slightly jumping, trying not to give up the barrier of $8k, and it's also doing pretty great with it! Expecting faster growth after such a long bearish market is unreasonable. Moreover, I don't think many people want Bitcoin to reach new ATH and then get deep down for another year or two, right?

Well I think buying now and before have differences but of course buying bitcoin a great thing we can do before the new ATH coming. Market is so volatile so don't panic if we see that the price fall a little bit. I believe that bitcoin price will boom again.
I'm also thinking about buying some bitcoins because I see the price is going to 10,000$ soon.
It's time to be patient and wait bitcoin skyrocket. Glad that bitcoin continues rewarding us so nicely after a hard bear market. I confess I was disappointed with crypto currency, but now it's getting better again. To the moon!!!
Your expectation will be possible soon because sudden pump also occur at anytime. I think this is the right time to invest on Bitcoin because then only going to moon. Bitcoin is the only leader of crypto market so once it is going to moon automatically most of the altcoins also follow the same way. May be this month will reach unexpected hype on Bitcoin.
Maybe if people already sure bitcoin price can be increased again, it is ok to buy it. But always prepare loss management and make target to take profit. Because any price can happen in future.

Whether it is all about cryptocurrency or some other tradeable asset we predict the market but that isn't precise. The market has gained good support above $8000 which is gonna make the market move forward reaching new ath. There isn't any perfect prediction with a perfect reason for price fall. Today it experienced a very steep fall and now it has been getting near to $8500 which on getting required market necessities will reach $9000.
