So about 10 minutes ago, i googled "How to earn money online for students?" and almost half of the contents was all about Bitcoin. i really want to earn money because im saving up for my college and i think bitcoin would help me, my problem now is.. i dont know how/where to start. can you guys help me out?  Undecided

try to understand how bitcoin works. After you understand how bitcoin works, think of building an app for it that is unique and can get sticky to the people. By doing this, your investment is just the time invested to build the app, and you will get some coins. Another way to become a millionaire is to do an ICO. Good luck

When I was a student, I studied part-time and I worked full-time to pay for my studies. Most people these days have parents paying for their studies and when they do not have classes, they lay around watching TV and playing with their phones.

Take my advice and get off your ass and start working some small job as a waiter or some delivery job and then take that income and invest it in Bitcoin. When you finish your studies, you will hopefully have enough money to start a good life debt-free or even some money to start your own business.  Wink

So about 10 minutes ago, i googled "How to earn money online for students?"
I wonder, if you are really new in crypto world then how did you find this forum so easily? Hmm, did "bounty campaigns in Bitcointalk.org" appeared in your browser after searching? Huh (Sorry for being skeptic)

Going back to the topic, I think the best thing you should do right now is continue researching. Read and read and read! Don't be hasty, learn first what btc and crypto as a whole is all about, search how it works and what is its advantages and disadvantages. Though I want to tell you some of the ways to earn btc (well, it's researchable in the first place Grin) I will not because I don't want you to suddenly engage in something which you don't fully knew and might regret it in the end.

Investing to crypto is very risky and I think you're not yet prepared. So for now, I'll advice you to study first Smiley.

If you do find it on google then you have to read a lot more of them. You can read more of them here and to the other same forum platform as well such as reddit, twitter, telegram, etc. We have also a beginner's guide section here just click that and read everything else that you want to know.

I will advise you to start to buy bitcoin, but you have to decide at what price and when to enter the market. Start by registering on exchanges with the affiliate program and try to attract partners so you can get a safe passive income. Invest in the perspective of coins and do not forget about the risks as College is also an important stage in life.
The price of bitcoin now is lower which is good to buy some of it on exchange on your desire price where you can gain profit from it. But you cannot depend on it that much, you have to find a real job also because investment on crypto is not easily earn. It is not easy to earn from joining campaigns though.

If you really want to earn money. Earning in Bitcoin is a good idea because you are a student you can work part time in bitcoin, you can also find a job that will suit you and could help you regulary to all of your expenses because Bitcoin is a good support to your financial needs but when the price is low you will regret to sell it. Its better to have another source of income and do not rely on Bitcoin.

It is been hare to earn now on this forum for the campaign because mostly of the projects extend or not paying. You cannot depend on it. You better find a job for real because bitcoin is not fast to earn. You can invest on it, better because the price is cheaper. You can use local exchange for that to buy bitcoin. Learn how to do trading.

Problem is earning FIAT online and Bitcoin is pretty much the same, either you sell your skills for Bitcoin/FIAT or you beg (im not advising that) for Bitcoin/FIAT or you try to gamble Bitcoin/FIAT (im not advising that).
So no matter what "currency" you want to earn, you doing pretty much same things.

If you want to learn about bitcoin write andreas antonopolous in youtube.

And in my opinion, if you want to learn about BTC the best time for that id when you are studying because when you are still studying your brain is much more active and much more easier to understand rather than an adult, and aside from that this forum is the perfect place for you on knowing more about BTC, the community and threads are the main sources that you will need in understanding  BTC and the whole msrket as well.

Crypto is a crazy market. Lots of volatility and uncertainty. But if that's your sort of thing, throw a few dollars in the game and see what happens. Never invest more than you can afford to lose. Rule 1.

You can start invest from your salary that you got in part time job or if you still got monthly from your parent.
Try to spend at least 5% - 10% a month for crypto , you can buy them on local exchange and I'm suggest to hold it for long term.
But if you need quick profit , you can do trading but it will cost your energy and time so think carefully before doing this !

Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither will you acquire enough knowledge in that time vicinity in order to profit from cryptocurrencies. Anyway, welcome aboard! It's good to see the young so enthusiastic about modern-day innovation, even if the motivation to learn is incentive-based, nevertheless, your first journey should start here https://www.investopedia.com/. Investopedia is an online super center for all things about investing, whether veteran or novice. They even have an academy for online courses https://academy.investopedia.com/products/cryptocurrency-for-beginners, you can't beat it! If you're serious about your future crypto endeavors, start here and practice your due diligence by brushing up on your financial academics.

The second place you should familiarize your self with is http://www.coinmarketcap.com. It is a good market index of most cryptocurrencies, why? Because you should be wary of the rapid price fluctuations in the market throughout the day. Cryptocurrency is very liquid and volatile, so please remember to pay good attention to the market daily.

The third place to go would be Youtube. Simply search "what is bitcoin?", and after that, youtube will start recommendations for similar video content.

Happy Trails!

@franky1

Okay, you got me...

I should have explained it a little bit better.

OP is a newbie on this forum, do you really expect him to earn +90 USD a week by posting in this forum to support his education?

In fairness, yes OP, you can actually earn pretty decent on this forum, but only if you put in the time.
By that, I mean you'll basically earn nothing before you become an established member.

So if you're willing to invest X amount of months, even years into this forum, yeah you will be able to earn a somewhat decent living here, just by posting.

That said, you can actually earn Bitcoins straight away, without going through all this hassle, also on this forum.
The thing is though, you need an actual marketable skill to do so.

Are you a decent writer? Put up a topic in the Services Boards and sell your writing skills.
You're a programmer? Same as above, if you're decent, you'll probably be able to earn a good amount of money here.

I fully admit that my responses might have been a little short-sighted. OP's post just seemed as though he was looking for a get-rich-quick scheme and thought that Bitcoin was the solution.
I'm a bit jaded in that regard.

I should just have given all the options in my first post and for that I'm sorry.

Before you try to make money, please be sure to understand all the risks related to crypto. For newcomers, crypto is full of various traps. This does not mean that crypto is not good. On the contrary, just because crypto is a very novel, so it's not perfect at the moment, and scammers will always find everything that can be deceived. Please be careful about this risk.

i came across this point

Just get a student job, you'll probably earn more with that.
Bitcoin isn't some magical way to earn money, despite what many people will tell you.

Oh really? And how much do you earn for spamming the forum?
Couldn't be more than a few dollars per week.

all those stuff.... but then he flattens his own argument mid statement with

(no I'm not talking about this signature campaign, that's just a pretty sweet side-gig)

thats like saying. no you cant make money here, but its a sweet money earner

. pure comedy

now to make a proper point
bitcoin is not just this forum. its a currency that is world wide.
thousands of businesses use it
if you want to earn money:
apply for a job working for companies in the industry
offer your skills and talent
start your own business offering products and services for bitcoin

there are many ways to earn bitcoin.
find a wholesaler/dropshipper. list a few products priced in bitcoin and sell them for profit
learn the technicals of bitcoin. become an expert and get paid being a public speaker
if there's people in your area interested in bitcoin, be an event organiser (much like business meetups("business networking events"))
trade/invest btc for profit
offer locals a hand to hand exchange for fiat/btc where you charge a small convenience fee
become a 'tutor' for other students that want to learn about bitcoin/blockchains.

whatever way you can think of to earn FIAT apply that logic to bitcoin
