Sent in 1 BTC and given the timeline change I will likely be investing some more before the ICO ends. Thanks for the news and great communication so far on answering questions. I'll be following this project closely and am especially excited for the start of 2017 because of this project.

OP Post:

50,000 registered users and sees nearly 2,000 unique players online each day with about 300-600 players on at any given point in time of the day.
Now:

We currently average about 200-250 in game at any time of day. That equates to around 2,000 active accounts per day.
I've played a few MMO's in my old days (it's all too grindy now for me haha) but active equals unique? Or just people logging in multiple accounts to level as well?
I hope you do get to the 200 BTC and hopefully I'll be able to jump in once I get paid out from other ico's and I know we all increase or exaggerate things we say but I just wanna be sure before I invest money.

Thanks for the replies though, other self moderated threads usually delete comments that don't flow with the rest.

Apologies for any confusion.

As stated in the first thread, our classic servers have been online for a long time and there is a natural curve of interest. The longer a server is out, the more difficult it becomes to maintain the same amount of active users. That's the reason we are so heavily focused on fully testing and ensuring Heroes will be a big success because that is the best use of our time moving forward.

Apex should be viewed as a "completed" project. Any major changes to gameplay or player content that can be done already have been done. We continue to release new quests, events and cosmetics there to keep the existing player base happy but it is no longer worth putting hundreds/thousands of dollars into advertising the project simply because of its age. It will continue to be supported and new content will be developed but nothing radically different will be done there.

Heroes is a completely different monster. It emulates the game in the state it was approximately 5 years after what Apex emulates. This means years worth of extra content and features which we are emulating from the official game but also means we have more tools at our disposal to create our own unique content. We're less bound by "how things used to work" and much more free to do what we want with the game to keep it fresh and interesting in the long term. The initial launch will be within the month and our goal is to launch a fully custom expansion pack for that server by Q4 (as mentioned in the timeline).

Back to your questions: The stats in OP are pulled from the duration of our project to give an (accurate) idea of the reach that we already have established. This is due to us still having those users in our email newsletter list (ready for the new server's launch for example), are following our facebook page or have contacts playing the server still who can be used to reach them as new features and content are made available.

~50,000 Accounts is the number of accounts registered through our Apex+Triumph website and is accurate. We've since filtered out any accounts that have never made a character as well as accounts that have not logged into the game in the past 6 months. This is to reduce any bloated artificial count on our website. The current total count after all of that filtering is 32,709 as of the time of me posting this reply. Personally I consider that quite good retention but everyone is welcome to make their own conclusions from that.

~200-250 online at any time of day is total accounts logged in at any given moment. Alternate characters are a common thing to have.
~2,000 active users per day. I just checked and 2,189 accounts have been logged in in the past 24 hours.

I want to note though, the numbers I just listed are from >today< and are not the same as the ones listed in the OP. The numbers in OP are the average throughout the livespan of the project, we've made no secret of the fact that Apex is less popular than it was a year ago and that's pretty much to be expected with these types of things and is one of the reasons we have such a long list of future plans in our timeline to make sure we can provide consistent and expandable demand for jewels in the coming years.

I assume its less players because once a player finishes the game they move on to another one. I think thats why jewels are building the heroes and the new game after that.

Still interested in this ICO and cool to see it being extended (maybe bounty?) but not sure what to expect after seeing the EU version (Triumph Conquer) being shutdown.
Developer said (on their forums) that "We've never been able to properly monetize the EU market so it's not worth our time to focus our efforts on that region".

Opening post and ICO looks (looked?) promising but having some doubts now in regards to their overall success. The player count isn't that high either whenever I'm checking.

Don't wanna be a downer but maybe there is an explanation for all of it.

The Market for the triumph severs is primarily Arabic countries. Due to their payment methods, value of their currency and their culture it has proven difficult to reach that market. The group that we've successfully attracted in the triumph projects from core eu counties are able to play on apex without issues. By merging the servers it boosts the number of players in events and standardizes our marketing so that there is less confusion of which server they should be playing.

Triumph was merged with apex so that our classic project is contained in one website and host. It's not as though we discontinued the project by any means. Or core audience is Na based and always has been.

200 BTC Goal & Clarification

For clarification on a few things as there are some ambiguities with what we said, the Heroes project will still be launched on it's current time line within the next 2 weeks (prior to the ICO ending). This can safely be done as users using PayPal to purchase Jewels will be buying from the PayPal reserve and will not be able to immediately turn their immature Jewels into the actual Jewels cryptographic asset.

We thank those who have offered input and suggestions as to how to reach the 200 BTC goal as it may seem as it stands we are quite far off. It should be noted that we are also seeking means of investment capital outside of Bitcoin Talk as well as negotiating private deals. We are currently in discussion with a few people in regards to private deals and partnerships which will not affect the Jewels ICO or distribution. Strictly speaking, we are looking to have a starting capital of $120,000 or more which will come from the ICO as well as outside investors.

Thanks, we will continue to keep the community posted on these matters.

So if the 200 BTC goal isn't met and you don't get any outside funding then what happens?

If at the end even after factoring in outside investments we have a budget less than $120,000.00 USD we will first seek to establish a new roadmap for development based on the available budget. Once we know this, we will then publish this information publicly and allow those who invested to vote weighted by their investment on whether we should proceed. If the majority votes "no" implying that they wish to be refunded then Jewels project will not proceed and we will begin the process of issuing a refund of all BTC. On the contrary, if the majority votes "yes" implying they wish to proceed despite the change in timeline which likely implies delayed schedules we will continue distribution and proceed with Jewels as intended.

I hope this helps clarify your question for you.

Maybe just a suggestion, since you stated you'd need around 200 BTC for this to succeed why not cap ICO at 200 BTC till it sells out - that will bring more demand since when we near that goal more will want a piece of the limited pie. Or cap it at 250-300 BTC and if you get to 200 BTC by the end you still distribute it accordingly to funds. Also when this ends price will be more stable no dumping since investors will have fixed price and those who miss out will probably need to pay more to get in on exchanges (since majority won't sell under ICO price). 200 BTC is a nice ICO funding that on its own should bring a few major exchanges on it by itself.

That is another idea capping it at 200btc and no time duration, have you spoke about that devs? It will be very interesting when it say gets to 120btc and others want a piece of the pie and then the fomo starts happening, it wouldn't take long.
The great thing about this sale is the lack of deposit bonuses, free coins is never a good sign however much it looks like it is, something you are doing right. Same price for all and like above said that will ensure the price is healthy, not to mention the demand the coin is going to create inside the games.
I feel it

I agree - I think free coins (aka bounties) only hurt coins at least on start since those that get it free don't mind selling it under ICO price brining a domino effect on some of the ICO investors.

That goes without saying, people who get free coins dump them for a lower amount but if your project is successful then the market can eat the small amount sold from the bounties.

The success of a project can be based on how many people see the project and for that many bounty should be offered at some point.

From what I understand, the number of BTC collected during the ICO is for the JWL distribution. If the ICO goals i.e. 200 BTC are not met, will the investor also get JWL according to the number BTC given?

We are using the price discovery mechanism that is distribution of JWL will be relative to how much BTC is raised. If the 200 BTC goal is not met but sufficient outside funding is secured to ensure that we have at least $120,000.00 USD as starting capital, we will continue and proceed with the JWL distribution.

The Jewels ICO will be extended to September 1st!

We have decided that it is within our best interest to move the end date for the Jewels ICO to September 1st. The more that is raised, the sooner we will be able to reach our goals as the end budget will dictate how we allocate spending the money in terms of hiring employees and paying for services. For this, we are now setting the minimum goal of 200 BTC ($120,000.00 USD). If this is not reached on September 1st, we will begin a refund to all of those who have invested to have their funds returned. If it is reached, we will proceed as expected.

If you haven't already, please check our our newest project Conquer Heroes at https://www.conquerheroes.com/ where you can help our with our testing of our newest server. Testers will receive special rewards on the official launch of the Conquer Heroes server for their efforts in bug hunting. We value any feedback you can offer us about your overall experience playing on any of our games.

As always, if you have any questions or general inquiries please feel free to ask and we are more than happy to help with or answer them Smiley

For those who have already invested if you are unsatisfied with our change in timeline, please email us at [email protected] and include your account information, transaction id and as much information as possible to we can verify your identity and return your BTC to you. As of right now, we have currently passed the 10 BTC mark and are steadily on our way towards our goal.

Thank you for your understanding.

No escrow and trying to raise 200 BTC?

Good luck. I truly hope you can do it, but I highly doubt it will happen.

Add escrow and do a video conference and maybe.

Weird I didn't have this font problem you're having when I tried it out. Maybe it has to do with your OS or DPI?

I can't seem to find no cons, can you tell me some if you actually have some? All I find is pros, fully working game and very capable dev, clear road map integrating Jewels in game gambling within 2 months, store for p2p trades and able to buy items, features etc with Jewels, multiple of games being worked on with one moving along nicely. Very helpful dev and active community, large player base. A partnership with c2, On and on an found no cons which makes this probably the best investment for me in 2016. Saying all that I do believe all gaming coins should join forces to make it bi mainstream.

Ya. I feel like a broken record but one of the only legit projects. Dev is beyond helpfull and all you have to do is ask for info and WALLA its poured out here. Wife actually took over the pc for days to play :p

Ok one con, but has nothing to do with the coin :p apex requires font size change to play. So ya literally nothing to complain about. These guys are going to be millionaires for sure.

Anyone who invests here is stupid and may be retarded aswell. This is just a copy of someone else's game and I bet its players are mostly bots anyway. Why would anyone invest here when they can invest in c2 or hyper or digibyte which are much better investments in my professional opinion.

So we have a copy and paste game, with bots and maybe 2 real players. One of them being the developer Chris. Yeah throw your btc at this guy. Bravo!

"professional opinion".
Newbie account.

Case closed.

Someone can be professional and have a newbie account, don't be so naive. But, someone can't write that much garbage and give a professional opinion. @trolling  Cheesy This up an comer Jewels is the one that will gel crypto gaming and gambling, some of the other have joined Jewels and if the others knew what was good for them they would too.

It is unlikely that an account created with that name is going to have anything constructive to say. Jewels partnerships will work well both sides and all have pros and cons. This to me has many more pros.

It is breakfast time here, Im'a dig deep over croissant and tea.

So far so good, keep on pimping.

Lol if only you knew how pimping I really was.

After looking through the main op and then a bit of back search on who you are dev, I'm happy this is legit and even more happy to take some profits from other coins and invest here. He has a very long history in gaming and being professional within a gaming community, it is indeed verifiable.
