Always ask questions. #StandWithHongKong
He has 2 private gits containing unreleased code for ckpool, one for his solo pool, and one for that MLM scam pool BitClub run by a Bitmain employee.....

Is it true that -ck is working with this scam? If so, I'm both very surprised & very disappointed.

I sincerely hope you both can overcome your differences & renew your long standing partnership/friendship as you have both been a rock in the cryptosphere for such a long time.....

Note that I've been working on a private git version of CKDB for a while now.
The last 2 CKDB updates were done from that.

The public git is easily able to support a 100PH pool on reasonable hardware.
I'm working on making CKDB support distributed pools, and that's certainly not necessary to use CKDB in general Smiley
Also, new updates I'm working on involve trying to track withholding better than the current high level statistical analysis I do, so I'd prefer that information not to be public.

I've been booted off the ckpool project by the project owner so I wont (and can't) put any more changes in the public git anyway Smiley
Seems like -ck's on a drunken rampage Smiley
He's removed me from cgminer also.

Ah well, he's being hypocritical, but not much I can do about that.

Me having a private git of ckpool was his stated reason for taking away my access - but now also cgminer Smiley

Meanwhile - good to see avalon putting more power on the pool after discussing this with me.

Perhaps it's me and I need to apologies to you guys.

I've been mining on the pool since Thursday and we've only found 2 blocks, prior to me pointing my miners at the pool it looked like things were travelling along quite nicely.
Lulz - no.
Luck is luck - nothing anyone can do about it Smiley

As I've mentioned before, the only thing that can affect it, that we wont all see, is block withholding.
All other blocks (or failed blocks) will show up on the blocks page.

Luck goes up and down, but as long as it doesn't stay down for extended periods of time (like what happened in December), there's nothing to worry about.

Edit. Those that use iPhone dl zeroblock it can be monitored easily from there. Gives a nice chart and price updates aswell. Along with that it shows the hashrate and block times for the last 24 hours.

That's a nice little app - thanks for the tip.

Biggest diff jump since last Feb.  Sad

the largest amount of hash ever added in one jump  just about 400ph

that is about 32000 s9's  around 42 million in gear.

I'd guess some of that is older gear being brought back on-line due to coin price increase. I know that I'm responsible for ~9TH of additional S7 hash since I've been running a couple S7's for about 8 hours or more a day since around Christmas.

Anybody watching the diff hashrate Shocked. 30% jump up is no joke. Esp when were over 2exahash!!

Last 24 hours has us over 3.15 exahash. So that will be the new benchmark to look forward too when doing your calcs.

Lucky they use 2015 blocks to decide Smiley
We'll see what it is in a couple of days ...

Yes and another big one to come. Still showing 7.7 min block times😕 3.4exa atm. 11 days approx till adjustment. This of course is the last 24 hours. It certainly can drop yet.  I didn't realize I had said diff when I meant hashrate up above.

Ouch!

Ouch indeed! That dropped my theoretical earnings by over $5.00 a day. Perhaps the price will increase to make up for that amount. (Wishful thinking...) Smiley

Is there any problem with the pool, my miner shows dead connection on 3333 and 81  to kano -- has failed over to antp00
Nope.

Edit: the account matching your username shows no shares for more than 7 days since march.

Edit2: checking the IP ... the other account that seems to be yours, the IP address is OK, no banning - so I guess it must be at your end.
Shares to that account stopped 15 hrs ago (as your workers page shows)

Hi Account is batminer.  tried a reboot still fails over to ant.

My internet connection was very sketchy last night- not sure if that would cause a banning."?
As I mentioned there's no issues with your IP address.
Yeah I worked out that batminer was your active username on the pool - but no, the problem must be where the miner is.

Can someone tell me what the :Hi column means in the invalid detail for a worker?  I have an S7 which is generating over 7% invalids, from whatever the :Hi column means.  I want to figure out if there is anything I can do to the fix it.
It means it's sending truck loads of shares below the required diff it's told by the pool.
e.g. if the pool says to send 2100 diff shares, but your miner is sending 7% of it's shares below that.
It has no effect on your miner but is a waste sending them to the pool to process them.

Probably a bad/crappy/old firmware?

The term Hi is coz that's what they actually are, high hash = low diff.

Edit: also it may have been when it connected to the pool - some of the bitmain firmwares are so brain dead they send low diff shares to the pool when you first connect and ignore what the pool says.
If the total Hi count isn't going up at 7%, then that's probably why.

It appears to have happened when it first connected since the percentage was slowly going down as time passed (it was not an ongoing thing).  That S7 has some problem anyway and has trouble going a week without having to be rebooted (which is why I am replacing it).

Thanks for the info tho - makes sense. Smiley
