About a third of my APW3++ power supplies won't start if they are below about 50F. On the other end, about 10% start up fine at -10F. Rest are in-between. Fortunately I can use those few to generate enough heat to warm up the rest.

I am curious if anyone knows what the minimum temperature should be during the winter to keep S9 miners working well? Is 40F too low? I ran two last winter at 50F and they seemed to run ok...

That'll be fine, I've run mine around that temp and a bit cooler in the winter no problem.

Just joined the pool I bought 10 v9's as upgrade from some old s3's I had been running. thinking mehh, they won't be that loud.
Think again.. currently can only run 1 dew to the noise from them!
Anyway! look forward to getting them online when I work out a solution!

So someone has not read anything about current miners for the past few years eh? Pretty much the first things mentioned in reviews are the noise and heat. They *are* industrial miners after all.... Before you ask about quieting them down: read through the hardware area about it first.Don't worry I won't ask any stupid questions in the thread like that.

Yeah I hate how I only get paid weekly at work since I have to pay my bills monthly... wait, wut?
And I've not seen a more reliable pool than kano's, with the best support of any sysop out there.
