There is no correlation at all.
Ah ok, my thinking went along the lines of "higher network hash rate means this pool is now a smaller percentage of the overall network". So I had figured that we'd tend to find blocks at a rate commensurate with the percentage of the overall network.

I was sort of looking at it as the pool being a "member" of the overall network "pool". Thinking back on this now I get how the logic in that is flawed.

All this ugly red and maroon needs to go away. We need more green.

I feel like the fact that the network hash rate immediately skyrocketed past the previous rate right after the diff change could explain the recent uptick in red blocks here... Somebody please correct me if I'm off-base on this.

Edit: BLOCK!!!!!  Grin

i downloaded bitcoin core

i would be willing to help run something for kano's pool if u would like

the pc is on all the time right now

just would need some walking threw

edit the machine is located in st.louis missouri
Other than pointing/addnode your bitcoind at the pool, there's not anything else at the moment.

I have a spare Raspberry Pi, can I run a node there and point it to the pool - will it help in anyways, esp for non-US resident members?

I have a spare pc and want to run a bitcoin node. It's there anything in particular I need to do, that would help benefit this pool?
Depends on where it is Smiley

@Kano

Any interest in taking in this transaction, the OP is offering a decent sized bounty to include it.
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/i-sent-a-4-btc-transaction-and-its-stuck-because-somehow-no-fee-was-attached-1459958
Nope ... it's a zero fee txn and he's already sent lots of previous txns so should know how to use a wallet Tongue
Anyway it will get confirmed sooner or later since it's a tiny txn with not a tiny amount of BTC.

There was a connection problem from Vegas to certain areas of asia for 2 minutes around 4:30am UTC
Seems about 5% of the pool hash rate failed over and has now all reconnected back.
The SG and DE nodes were unaffected.
All OK again.

back to back blocks and its green.... that's the Kano pool that we know - now let's line them up !

After thoughts..... we have 3 blocks so far on 3rd May... so given our "average" - we should see 1-2 more to signal that we back in the normal zone once more..... be gone with this "bad luck" zone.... We have survived crossing the Bermuda Triangle. Enough of my rambling nonsense... Keep On Mining!

Maybe one of those green blocks where the text is BLUE before the day is out? Grin
