That weekend drought hurt. Lets get back on track and get some more green blocks to replace that ugly red on the stats chart.

Another block, in the low 100's ... and payout confirmed Smiley

Nice one - great timing too to send out the payout.

Kano - so the auto-payout codes are in place?
Nope - as I've mentioned before, auto won't be happening.
There's too much issue with just letting every payout go out without checking them.

Pools like Eligius and Slush let well over 250 BTC each be sent to a single withholding miner and let them get away with it because the pool's miners are the ones who lost the most/all of that 250 BTC.
That won't be happening here.

All I've done is just change it to be zero fee txns and still make sure they are in the block work.

Sending a payout takes little to no effort, but I firstly check a batch of payouts (and various other things) minutes/hours - usually hours - before the next one is due.
So sometimes they are delayed a little, but not usually.

The first confirm now completely depends on when we find the next block, which we're supposed to average around 3-4 blocks a day.
Paying the expected fees is well above what I'll ever consider doing - as I mentioned, at the moment that would be around $1400 a month or more - especially when you consider that we confirm transactions ... that's the specific and direct job of the pool, and what we get paid for doing ... nothing else.

Excellent approach - while automation is good - your careful approach protects the members and ultimately this is desired.
With all the hacks and bad hats out there - be be safe than sorry - and this is can be considered as a layer of protection for our BTCs.

For NH rentals pointed to de.kano and also WH pointed to stratum.kano - what ports should be used?

3333 works for me
All ports are the same.
The reason for different port numbers is for people with ISPs, gateways or firewalls that might block most ports, so you have a choice to pick from.
3333, 8080, 443, 81 & 80

Have you even visited kano.is and read how it works?
i am new at the whole thing, just reading now.

We just take a lot of pride in hitting blocks here on the Kano CKPool even though it doesn't change how much payout we each get per block.
