I refuse to pull the plug at this point and I won’t sell my miners. However if it gets around 3k I’ll just buy it.
The only reason why I don't just buy is the paper trail. Unless I'm missing something, I feel like it's defeating the privacy factor.

Bitcoin has no privacy really.
presumably if you have no connection to fiat from mining to spending, then perhaps you have a high degree of privacy. However, if privacy is the main draw, there are other options that are better than BTC. As BTC's transactions were meant to be open/not hidden to begin with.

I have 25 $100 Bitmain coupons, free for Kano pool members. Pm me with you Bitmain id and how many you want.

I wonder if the current increase in hashrate is from Antminer S9 or some unreleased ASIC model which has not been sold to public yet. Shocked

Kano - sorry for not reading the past 20 pages - but how about the asicboost implementation for the dragonminers ?  Grin
Should be done by the end of next week, hopefully sooner, but, knowing me, probably not before Tongue

Did anyone see a block today? I think I misplaced mine... Need to go and find it.
Anyway, if someone finds that block - keep it in the pool, please! Smiley

I think I dropped it into the chili.

Nothing yesterday, maybe today will be a better day.  We can use a nice little 3 block day to finish the month strong before the difficultly slams everyone again.

Well, guys, I successfully consolidated all my Kano payouts into one transaction for 86¢ yesterday. It only took an hour to start getting confirmed at the minimum Bitcoin Core fee of 0.00001 BTC/kB

That marks my first official BTC transaction from Bitcoin Core.

I'm going to consolidate after the 30th.

Unfortunately whoever wrote that has no idea about reality Tongue
Bitmain has been over 51% for a long time.

... and the most obvious point to trash that article is that when you control more than 51% of something why would you try and destroy it Tongue

... and before anyone answers that, think about it logically.
Miners invest a lot of money into Bitcoin so they have the most to lose if Bitcoin crashes and have the most difficulty to back out of it.
Anyone else with just lots of BTC ... sell and your out ... in one transaction Tongue

1xA921 + 1xA741 + Backup-->1xA6 ;)
How do you do this? I have almost $7.00 sitting there?
Sorry for the confusion. These were payouts not just rewards--as Kano corrected me in a recent post.

Dust hasn't been paid out yet.
