but even at 13c a kwh 3.5TH @ 1100 watts is profitable.. will be probably until the halving..

dont throw it away:

1. donate to local university, cryptocurrency department... (free electricity)
2. donate/raffle it to local uᴉoɔʇᴉq chapter for charity etc.
3. use it for your heater during winter (heat and coins!)
4. wire it up for solar-powered miner ... good for your next project

my electric costs are 13 cents per kWh . If you don't want it thats ok with me. I'll put it in the garbage.

I'm sure the miner could easily cover electric...

Hi all, I won a Avalone 4.1 from Kano's first contest. 
I had to stop mining because of electric cost but I would like to give the avalon to someone that will mine with it on Kano's pool.
all you need to do is pay shipping in the USA only. My mining name is pingster. I do have a power supply if needed. PM me if interested.   I checked with Kano before posting this and he said it was ok, I have lots of S3s and power supplies too.

As the average is, I keep checking in off and on and I see my Kano.is / ckpool brethren are kicking ass!
I tell you, I've told so many, and even when we had those weeks in October last year which were our poorest I solved two blocks with my own gear. This pool just has a vibe like a muscle car from the late 60s. You slide in, break it in, and then ride.

I do appreciate everyone here and love to lurk for days, but you can believe I am reading every post as I always have and for over a year I am as happy here as ever. Even though a very wise pool op told me other ways to lower variance I still keep the majority of my hash here and don't know if I would sleep well if it were anywhere else.

I like seeing the posts about the small guys and the only person I call a friend just rolled over his first bitcoin earned from gear he got from me practically free. He is proud of earning that first bitcoin and I told him, stick with Kano.is, always look around, keep your eyes open, but do not even think about moving.

I will go back to my lurking mode and I am installing a couple of new miners tonight. Gotta go buy a dress first. No, not for me, but I am still paying hah. Drinking a Venti Caramel-Honey goodness Coffee because I love 'em sweet and big just like the 26+ btc block we had! BOOM! Says even more about this is the place to be after the halving. Kano and CK are always thinking way into the future, these guys are not short timers.

I feel like the pool has gotten better from several vantage points. The members have actually distilled to the best group to kick with and even members of other pools come and chat here often.

I am going to sip a bit more and get the shopping done so I can play. Keep rockin and blockin, don't let up til the sun stops comin up, and be confident in your choices. Mistakes are what is teaching all of us every day. No regrets when we are mining with the best.
 
I am going to buy the best damn dress for this lil girl that will make her so happy and tell her it is from the crew at Kano.Is
What made me the happiest besides seeing all of these blocks rolling in and reading the past couple of days posts is her telling me she wanted me to go with her to the event the dress is for. Teenage daughters don't do that much they normally think the 'rents are crackin their style but I told her it was completely her choice that I would stay home and work on the mining room and she said no Dad come with me and we'll both come home and work in the room. - I am a happy, thankful, fortunate man and take none of it for granted.

I hope all of you are also starting out to a heavy, hard-hitting, beast-mode weekend. 

Most of all, stay safe guys, make sure your family, you, and your miners are all well-connected in every way you can possibly afford and still plan for the future. We may have a few bumps but the block charts are like Shakira's hips, those don't lie!

Yes, the payout is assigned to the address that your account had at the (exact) time the block was found.
Manual (and future dust) payouts will use the address when the payout is sent, though I may implement something (when I get to that) regarding address changes around the time of non-standard payouts.

As are many of us

fyi you will not receive any payouts with new address until a block is solved while mining with the new address all previous blocks will be awarded to previous address

Always nice to get a block here, always appreciated unlike other pools! Thats actually my 4th block since I started mining April of 2015.

With 14 blocks over the past 2 days and 17 over the past 3 days, some of the shifts have been rewarded 12 times making them 238.16% PPS.  Wow, life on the Kano CKPool is good!
