At least that is good weather to run mining hardware...where is here for you? For me it's 80, sunny, and windy on the east coast of Virginia, USA and there will be no 1300 watt heaters running here for the kano pool!

Here's an interesting tidbit: First block for Block Friday was from pt0x, at that time I was at the Hollywood Bowl watching David Gilmour start into "Money" so I grabbed my phone to take some pics and I see Block Alert!
Coincidence, or fate?? Coincidence, of course, but fun nonetheless!

It's so interesting to watch the thread around the halving, etc. I think I have a pretty good idea of what will come about, but much of that has to do with having observed the last event, and the dynamics are indeed different today. My partner and I are maxxing out our power availability with a combo of S7s and S3s, and we are fairly confident it's a good move at this time for our long-term purposes. Having a resource like this board is a significant asset. You're all appreciated.

Another thing that throws new Kano CKPool miners off is the concept of 5Nd and shifts. There is a ramp up period which takes about 1-2 days before your payouts are at maximum. There's a bit of an explanation here on the Help/Payouts page...

did you try pinging the rest of the nodes? perhaps one of the primaries has a bit better ping rate.

Can't make up my mind to sell off the S5's or wait for the Bitfury upgrade of the S5's. That would make them all small reliable 3.5TH miners…

What is this Bitfury upgrade for the S5, do you have a link about this to share?

The Sidehack project IS an blade upgrade for the S5`s.
It's a retrofit for S1 chassis, but it should fit just as fine with S3, S5
Just mean't that I wonder what will be the final specifications, connectivity etc.
