I can't wait for the post halving miners. Ima buy one and stick that bad boy in Kano. This renting is for the birds. I can repair circuits, maybe I should just find a busted one cheap and fix it.

its funny to watch the cause and effect of finding blocks.
yesterday many blocks, lots of activity on the thread many people happy. today only a couple blocks so far, and thread all but dead.

8 blocks for the day. Not bad. Lets start the new day with some more green blocks.
I could use a few more days like this. Whatever it is that makes this pool work so well, I hope we keep it up.
I've read a lot about luck, but I don't think this is pure luck. Sure, luck is a factor, but I think Kano is highly dedicated to making this pool work and he seems to be on the top of his game. That is not luck at all, that is hard work on his part. Thanks Kano.

Edit: Looks like we had a cool down period overnight after the smoking hot day we had yesterday. Our addy guy 12TMh did hit his 10th kano block a couple of hours ago. Maybe that will get us primed and ready to go for another round today! Way to get it started 12TMh and jmashore!

I want to know just one thing, why exactly are you giving them away ? What do you get out of this ? And if you win how is shipping costs worked out, i mean will you use insurance or what ? Thanks.
It's a promotion deal kano worked out with Avalon...Avalon will be supplying and shipping a miner to each winner. Actually this is the 2nd contest kano has done like this.

Little secret
-ck (and I) wrote most of the code in cgminer.
Avalon writes the code in their cgminer drivers and keeps it all in sync with master cgminer.
Works well for them and they of course are happy to support us.
They also seemed to have got some good awareness as a result of it this time also.

Aye, Captain! I'll see how many drum sticks, wings and thighs I can shovel into the warp core!
Seriously though, it's nice to finally make it on the board. I've got one S4 and 4 S5s running underclocked (because of power rates), and a brand new S7 that was DOA from the factory. I'll have it up and running with a new bbb long before Bitmain will be able to do anything at all to actually help me.
