Hello... Im a new miner to ckpool. Jumped over from Antpool.

At this moment ive moved over 130-140T/H with another 200T/H coming in the next 10 days or so.

I have 2 accounts at kano.is mainly because they are shared with different partners.

On one account ive set the BTC wallet address and its fine, ive been receiving payouts. On the next account, when i attempt to set this same BTC wallet address, it says Error : BTC address unavailable.

But this very same wallet receives payouts from kano.is under a different account.

Is there a reason for this? Can i set 2 - 3 different mining accounts to pay to the same wallet?

Thank you!
An address can only be associated with one account.
This ensures that I can always combine rewards to the same address and always be able to reverse track a payout back to an account for when outstanding balances are implemented.
You address history is recorded (forever) so there will always be a way to find the payouts for an account.
Guarantees that the blockchain represents correctly your account.

kano has probably set some kind of protection that once a BTC address is linked to an account that it cannot be associated with another account. It would be far easier to just use a different address for the second account (and probably your only option unless kano changes this protection). BTW you can still mine directly to a BTC address instead of an account, you just don't get all the features on kano.is that user accounts get.

Block!

Damn. I thought for sure I'd beat you to the punch this time.

You must sit in front of your computer clutching your iPhone waiting for the notification Wink

Nah...I'm just working at my computer doing swim team stuff and I have a cgminer cmd window open on my second screen.  I see the messages from CKPool for each work accepted and any new blocks that are hit.  If it belongs to kano.is, it shows me who hits it also.  This cgminer is running an Antminer U3 which is useless for it's 63GHs hash but I like to keep an eye on the cmd window messages!

random light bulb.  switch to -l 7 and going to dig trough ckproxy.log to confirm a crazy idea.

Can't wait to see what you come up with...   Grin

Anyone mining with tubes, I restarted the nonce proxy 20 mins ago.
All should have just seen an immediate reconnect (we didn't lose or failover any users)
One user's miners hadn't switched over from before, and this restart fixed it for them.

There was also a high share about 7 hours ago: (about 2.25hrs before we got the block)
Code:
[2016-02-10 07:34:36.738+11] Share ok Diff 98.0% (141162320081/144116447847.3) --- Pool 213413120924.0 213G 148.08%
(previous one was 9 days ago)

Comparing these numbers to my highest share currently makes me realize how incredibly far off all my equipment is.  I know it's all luck but man this difficulty is getting crazy high.
This is not really anything new. The difficulty has been completely fucked since we left the GPU era. The difficulty is designed to protect bitcoin, not miners.

Looked at my miners at the datacenter, one had 100 billion best share, close one.

Back in December that would have been a block   Cheesy

What PDU's would you recommend for 220V running the S7's?

These are good switched PDUs.  Either only order factory reset PDU or 1 that comes with the serial cables so you can do a reset and set up IP and everything you want manually.

APC AP7911 Switched Rack PDU 16-Outlet 200-240 VAC

You can't go wrong with APC PDUs. Never had a single failure. They have tons of models so be careful to pick the form factor that you want with the power capacity that you need.

This may just be my personal experience, but you should avoid Tripp Lite. They're probably cheaper, but not worth it. I had a pair of them die in exactly the same way just a few months apart. Bad design resulted in a blown diode.

thepinkanator95  - The contest is over for under 10TH miner who found a block but since there wasn't a winner last time.  PM me your reward for this block.  I will reward you with the same so you get double rewards.  Great job!

P.S Very envious that 2TH is beating 2Petahash to a block.  Muahaha
