BTW there might've been a tiny failover on the NYA node an hour ago. There was for me at least. All is well...

MINE ON!!!

No indication of the failover for me, not that I can see of anyways.

yes was forced to move due to no bch support here Sad but still miss the community Cheesy
Took me a moment to realize what you were talking about.

This Pool is a Bitcoin Pool.  Why would it support an attack on Bitcoin?  How could anyone trust any "Bitcoin" pool that supported such a hostile fork against Bitcoin?
Well, I did say that I was 'vaguely' considering it at one point since it seemed that people required [BCH] coins to buy miners from Hitmain.

Fortunately that ceased to be the case.

Anyway, that was long ago and certainly not anywhere on the agenda in the future...
Glad you stuck with just BTC. No need to expand to altcoins in my opinion.

The majority of the people who do mine BitCH will believe anything Tongue
Like ... auto jumping coins to 'maximise' profit ... which of course doesn't work since no one has mystical powers enough to know the future price of selling a scamcoin some time after you mine it.

... and yes I've no regrets at all to hear people who think that they MUST mine altcoins say they don't mine here.

I'M ON 220 VOLT POWER NOW, BABY!!!

To be continued...
So, at long last I completed a rite of passage in the journey of BTC mining...

I used the following box to split a 220v 30a dryer cord (NEMA 10-30P) into four (4) separate 14awg cables (14/2 UF-B Romex):

Some benefits so far are 1) half the noise overall from my mining rig (Avalon6 + 1200w HP PSU) and 2) more consistent hashrates. We'll see when Summer temps come back after all this rain we've been having recently.
Update: The past week's weather has been less Summer-like (rainy & highs of ~30°C/~85°F), but man, I haven't seen this steady of a performance out of my Avalon6 + HP 1200w PSU since I was routing winter air into its intake. Wink

I think the previous use of 120v was just asking a little bit too much of the PSU once the heatwaves started to hit the east coast--especially since it's only rated for 900w on 120v.

*** Anyone else that doesn't want to shut down their miner(s) in the Summer--or just have overheating/outages, failed PSUs, etc.--and needs help with a power cord upgrade like I did, feel free PM me for assistance.

Let's keep the Kano PHs flyin' high this Summer! MINE ON!!!
