There are total fees of more then 2BTC right now, is it possible to have them within one block?

How do you know this 2BTC thing. I have so much to learn, I too would like to know the answer.

You can see here: https://tradeblock.com/bitcoin/
and here: https://blockchain.info/de/unconfirmed-transactions

But if I look at the size I can answer the question myself!
Its even a little bit more than 1MB  Grin

Stale for Bitminter on the same block  Cry Cry
Yeah I saw the block and yes we won

... ... no idea why you would think that is bad?

Ours was out first and we distribute our blocks WAY better than other pools.

Here's the relay information (yes we have other methods of getting our blocks out faster - and they have nothing to do with SPV either)
Code:
[2016-01-19 21:10:14.878+00] 000000000000000008f3f8f8c0ca69826d034dbbee470082c7329d4537bb1b51 sent, size 987787 with 174403 bytes on the wire

[2016-01-19 21:10:15.874+00] 000000000000000003e86cd432fb18411740b5cd80bb01ac5a6ed4468f8886d2 recv'd, size 989136 with 634261 bytes on the wire

3e86 was a whole second later.

Edit: and not only that, we are still under a DDoS attack, just it's dropped down low enough to not cause much of a problem
(it's using 25x more bandwidth than anything else on the pool) but we still got the block out fast.

Stale for Bitminter on the same block  Cry Cry

Does this mean what you said?  Bit minter has a "stale" block or we have a "stale" block?

Kano got the block, bitminter is stale

You had me concerned for a moment with the crying faces.

Yeah all good for you Tongue Just suck that is stale for smaller pool. I would have been happy if it was Antpool or F2Pool Tongue

Well my timing (for that Avalon 6) could have been better, but very happy I finally found one for Kano! Previous block, not this latest.

Carl, aka Sonny :)
Block!  Every time we get DDOSed it seems to bring us a block!

EDIT:  This is a good healthy-sized block...Thanks bladex!  (Is that wolfen's miner name?)

Just in the last few minutes...can't get to the web site, but mining is OK. No worries.

Got Happy and Bashful up and running (the two new S3s).

Need coffee.
Few major problems in the last hours.

As mentioned before, the RUU node went down.
That was 16:43:46+00 UTC
I've still not heard back from them, OK they're off the list of server suppliers to ever use again ( edis.at )
I redirected RUU to DE

Main node was DDoSed at 19:47:16+00 UTC and was off the air for 19 minutes
While that was happening I got into the server and updated ckpool
The remote nodes depend on the main node, so this also meant DE, SG and RUU were all offline also.

Since everything has come up, the DE (which now includes RUU) has been failing to keep connections
I'm looking into how to deal with this at the moment (it would appear to be a linode problem)

SG (and main) are OK
Nope, it's gone down again.
The second one was only for a few minutes and has all been OK since then.
Pool is back up to 11PH (the web site pool stat lags a bit behind as expected)

Short DDoS the second time too?  Was it directed at the pool or the datacenter?  (perhaps thats unknown?)

Mahalo Kano...I just fired Lunarpages (I'm a hosting reseller and manage a couple of dozen sites) for very similar reasons. I have no problem saying so. I've moved to Hostwinds, and so far I'm quite pleased with their akamai (knowledge) and service. I'm able to get to the website again. Mining was doing OK all along, though. Good design.

Yes, you can use the same worker name on multiple miners.

Thanks but I figured it out.. It was myusername.workername and not my BTC address.

Is it ok to reuse the worker name in other miners or should I have a sep worker for each miner ? I'm not concerned about individual stats.

Can someone verify if this is correct for S3.. It came up dead .

 - stratum.kano.is:3333
 - 1FtsbFmVeqXBR3VFN9oLeGydTxY2tPAWgK.myusername

do I need to enter tcp+ or anything else before the address ?

The pool was down for a moment.  I'm sure kano will give an explanation shortly.  Try it again.

Ping seems a little high since coming back up... I'm seeing around 95mS to 150mS from Nashville.  I usually see around 60mS to 70mS.  Latency begins at hop 10  lax-eqx-01c.voxility.net.
