Nice green block.  Pretty empty thou...
Was found based on work only seconds after the previous block so there weren't many transactions around but the highest priority transactions pending still got included. This would have been a completely empty block if found by numerous other pools.

would the ckdb restart cause the difference in block time on the banner even though its referring to the same block?

CKDB restart is still awaiting that shift summarisation which should be in the next 5-10 minutes.
Network block finding randomness makes it impossible to know exactly in advance ...

Oh there it is now as I was typing ... OK CKDB restart in the next few minutes.

Personal text my ass....
Can a new thread be opened for the cheerleader squad and just keep this one pool related? Trying to blow through 20 pages of voodoo and chicken wings to find out pool related info gets more and more difficult. I try to keep up and my usual disclaimer, not trying to offend anyone. A good alternative for cheerleading type posts is Twitter. What is was designed for. Maybe use that for the chicken food and celebration tweets and leftovers will be all detailed pool related. Remember, some of us can't get on the forums daily and I would like to keep up to date on things but sometimes I can't because of 20 pages of "we will get this block" or "have some chicken".  While it is crazy funny wacky stuff us old guys read slower and can't keep up so fast. If I'm the only one that thinks this way, then stuff me right back down the hole from which I came.
Thank you.

what is the default user and password for ssh to an sp20?
I know and s3 is root/root and s5/s7 is root/admin

As far as I can remember it's admin/admin

Edit: It's root and your GUI PW

Edit 2: So ssh default is root/admin

Cleaned up a few posts - pointless repeating posts when the answer's not correct Tongue

So we popped a block from a big boy . Thus contest goes on

the pool has 12,121.66THs

1)   1,156.78THs   top gun
2)   811.13THs      second banana
3)   640.76THs
4)  495.20THs
5)  430.80THs
6)  420.88THs
7)  383.36THs
8 ) 351.71THs
9)  298.93THs
10) 258.72THs
11) 253.87THs

the above have too much hash power to win and add to about 5500gh of our 12121 th

so 55% chance that a player can hit it vs 45 % chance a big boy hits it.

I am running 8th so I have an 8 of 6620 shot or about 12 in 10,000 chance

the dreamer has a 234 of 6620 or about  353 in 10,000 chance

I need more power!

EDIT - Hold on, I setup an account while sitting here at work, but my miner is still mining straight to my BTC address...  I'll bet that is the issue - sorry for clogging up the thread, back to your normally scheduled mining.

Just remember if you do that you will loose the 5ND, at least i think that will happen  Undecided

If I understand it correct, then because VRobb is saying that he is just transferring his miner from one btc address mining account to the new one as a username, as long as he was on 5Nd when he does the change, the original account will fall out of its 5Nd and keep the receiving payments, but falling off as it winds back down to zero work done, while the new username account payments climb up to the full 5Nd payment for work done, so what he looses from the older one he gains similar or equal to it on the new account, so overall shouldn't really loose anything, except for his actual downtime during the config change and restart and a very little while his miner maybe settles back into its own preferred pool diff

is this correct?

No, nothing will be lost.

This is how the 5Nd works:

You get paid for all shares submitted.
Thanks, Zach, I was about to go into a whole disertation on shares and such, but indeed I could already hear kano-san's eyes rolling at yet another "how's this 5Nd thing work" thread...

Indeed I'm here for the long-haul, and even if I did mine to a different BTC address, as my 5Nd ramps up on the new address it is simultaneously ramping down on the old for a net effect of - get ready for it - zero, paid the same in total.

It will.  Your 5ND will start over.  But that's ok because you're here for the long term and you'll get back to full speed Smiley

Loving the contest and this pool's community of bitcoin fanatics!

Run into a little problem with the web stats, though.  Been mining straight to a BTC address but want to use more of kano-san's stats and stuff that's available.  I setup an account, made sure all is (apparently) correct re username, same btc address, and generate an API, but I don't see any hash coming from my machine to the pool - everything shows zero on any stat page...  Tongue

I must be missing something easy...  Anyone else see this when setting up your account after mining to an address??

Have you logged into your account and checked your workers page?  If they're actively hashing, you should see something there at least.  I think it takes a bit for the stats to update when you're just starting though.

Edit - Sheesh, helps to refresh before commenting on another topic...
