Just as we've lost a couple, there are probably some people who are a bitfurious...

Just a part of the reality of mining, and thankfully, a small part.  Undecided

So that last block we just found was a nail biter ...
23 minutes of waiting to see who'd confirm the block - ours or Bitfury ...
And we won the orphan race Cheesy
Another good low diff block 29%

Had a close look at the block we just found an hour ago ...
Well done TheOneJester ... been hashing with ~1.14TH (average for just the past 2 weeks) and found the block - good luck for you and everyone on the pool Smiley

Edit: heh xZork, you just beat me to it Smiley

Edit2: he's actually beaten the record lowest total diff submitted since he started mining to find a block.
The record was SP20winner who submitted a total of 1.306G and has the block he found that won the SP20
TheOneJester is now just under that with a total of only 1.218G diff submitted - great luck!

Well done, probably a single S5?  Gives us little guys hope.

That's why I'm loving it. Our hash does matter!

I looked this morning and realized that it was my little miner that found it! (It indeed is an S5) Cheers \o/

Just did a ckpool restart - should have been few if any failovers.
the bitcoin daemons running on the server have been playing havoc over the last 24 hours so I felt the urge to restart ckpool also.

Yeah....good thinking. A couple of the exchanges were having some trouble today for the same reason.

Damn daemons    Shocked
Well we got a block in the middle of it so it's certainly nothing to worry about so far - though I'm spending a lot of time dealing with it Smiley
The only real issue would be if we got an orphan because of it all - but things seem to have finally settled down now.

With that block I just met my estimated power cost for May.  A couple more before the month is done would certainly be welcomed.

I hope June brings lots of green and blue to make up for all of the recent red!

DID HE SAY $100 per MONTH!!!

I'm paying flat rate for 2 corners that are shared power on 4 different breakers. Total amount of power, I really don't know. Lucky that there are 2 closets near. Anyway $100 a month. Currently running 7 S3s 1 SP20 @1.5 and 1 S2 that I am looking to get rid of because I can get more out of that area, then again what people are asking for hardware at a 10% increase per diff and 0 power cost it really isn't worth buying anything at the moment. Draw back is it isn't the cleanest environment and I have to clean units regularly.

Wow...you better run right out and buy some equipment. BUILD A POLE BARN. I haven't seen a bill that low in ....  can't remember. Been in FL, constant AC weather for so long now...my bill has never been under $170. Lately, over $230, and that's before I started running this little S3. I just know I'm gonna get some serious sticker shock. FPL rates suck...and after you use X amount...well, get out the gun, and shoot yourself.  Shocked   Probably on par /w CA or worse!!!!    Cry

Good luck and Happy Mining     Grin

What are you guys paying for electricity there?

I'm at $0.0779+Taxes and BS fees, total $0.148USD per KWh here in the northeastern USA. Still make about $30-35 USD per month, per SP20 running at around 0.5 efficiency (500watts@1TH/s).

I'm in southern California and pay about $0.30USD / kWh, I mine for fun, not profit (obviously, at that cost), but with summer heat and my AC running steady I have to turn down until it cools down.

Wow, nice 29% block.  My last payment was double what I'd been receiving, so I guess this is a good way to go out for the summer.
