If the pool can rip a few quick blocks I add more stuff here.
If you wait until after the quick ones then you miss out on the benefit of the quick ones.
The quick few reduces my risk of adding more and I can comfortably wait out a longer block while the new stuff gets up on the pool.
The hardware I put to this pool was purchased from sports book proceeds.

How many confirms before we know it's good
Usually +2 means it's good i.e. 1 block after we find the blockBut that's of course not 100% guaranteed either.
ckdb will keep checking the block is still in the chain until it's matured - and flag it as an orphan if it moves out of the main chain any time before that
I'm not sure how long it is since we've had a fork of more than 1 block on the network so +2 is pretty much good enough to be pretty certain.
