The quick few reduces my risk of adding more and I can comfortably wait out a longer block while the new stuff gets up on the pool.  Wink

How many confirms before we know it's good
Usually +2 means it's good i.e. 1 block after we find the block
But that's of course not 100% guaranteed either.

ckdb will keep checking the block is still in the chain until it's matured - and flag it as an orphan if it moves out of the main chain any time before that

I'm not sure how long it is since we've had a fork of more than 1 block on the network so +2 is pretty much good enough to be pretty certain.
