To help ease the mind of new members, could any senior members share the amount of coin they've earned, at the th/s that they had at the time of the earnings, near or over 6 months?
I think it may help some new members put earnings into perspective that way. Thanks in advance!!!

Totally different comparison though, with the pool size being different, as well as the difficulty (and block fees).

I am confused as to how luck works in all of this....

Is 100% good?  Is lower % better?  Or is higher % better?

Is luck and Diff % relational?

I'm having a hard time understanding the luck part in all of this.  Red is bad, green is good...but luck varies..

Are we trying to be at 100% luck all the time?

https://imgur.com/a/515j6

Thanks!

Expected luck is 100% and if we hit that on every block all is good in the BTC world.  Better luck is less than 100% and worse luck is greater than 100%.

Our block 509209 was super lucky at 7.588% while our block 491758 was super unlucky at 928.788% Cheesy

Some other pools represent luck in reverse for some reason Huh

Thanks for the info!
A single block's luck is of course so random that it's completely meaningless to try and make any claims about the pool performance based on a single block.
It's all of course related to statistical samples.
A small sample of a large set of data is not going to give a useful representation of that data, and one single block is basically meaningless in that respect.
Aside: there's also the CDF column (that shows the chances of that happening) to compare with any of the very few pools that show that also.

The top two tables are what's useful to see the pool's performance.
The CDF[Erl] is actually the most useful number on the whole page ... and no other pool shows it Tongue
Seriously, most if not all other pool operators have no idea about the statistics of mining.
slush is the best example of that - after running a pool for the longest of all pools, he still had no idea about checking the statistics of his miners in Dec 2015 when they all lost a truck load of BTC due to that.

Anyway, as the number of blocks increases, you get more useful data with the CDF[Erl] which is showing, in the top two tables, the probability of getting worse than that result.
There's also Luck% columns in the tables that show 50% luck as bad luck and 200% luck as good luck.

Happy to join the pool. I tried test runs at antpool, slushpool but I think those
pools are taking too much profits. Nicehash is good but I am not sure about it´s
security because it got hacked.

How long does the rewards take to be seen on my account?

I run Antminer s9 14Th which still should be profitable.
My other miner is Antminer L3+ that´s for litecoin mining
but in other pool
You get a reward each time anyone finds a block Smiley
Got one, block #510992. Not much though...
As stated on the Help->Payouts page, your rewards for your work are spread out over 5Nd.
Thus your total reward for mining before that block will depend on the blocks found in the 5Nd after each shift you mine in.

Yesterdays repeat explanation of that Smiley

Thanks. I guess I should keep it running for some days to get more rewards first. On to the night shift. lol

OT: Anyone else being inundated with coupons from a certain vendor today?  I'm always suspect when a big push to move product is underway from these guys.

Not inundated - but I did receive an unexpected email this AM "Coupon 200 USD Coupon Valid : 2018-02-24 18:15:51 ~ 2018-06-01 18:13:00"

Next miner is already up and running in their mines, gotta get rid of the s9's!
And they're still selling T9's too.

37 coupons so far, ranging from $100-$200.

I haven't received any, and I'm on the notification list of most legitimate companies, and distributors.

Got a notification from the Android pool app, while I was at work this morning. First thing that popped into my mind, was
I had lost power AGAIN! Very pleased to see we had found a block! Can't wait for this ramp to be finished.

I still don't completely understand ...  If I send all my BTC from my temporary/work wallet so my Nano S9 that would be a transaction and it would consolidate?

I really like having everything in one wallet...then periodically transfer to Nano S so that would do it?
You don't need 2 wallets.  You can send yourself (from your wallet to your wallet) a bulk transaction to consolidate just the same.

So I could send from my wallet right and then receive right back to the same wallet ?  I understand the principle just want to make sure I dont do something wrong, lol

Thanks !

yes jst need to generate a second wallet address from the same wallet
