I have a couple of s9 in the pool and i am glad i found you Kano Smiley
I wont be hopping as that's not my style so im here to stay.
Only thing is (as im a noob) I have added them without an account. Is it possible to add the s9's to my account without losing the ramp up.
i have already ramped up for about 2/3 weeks and would not want to lose that.
What do you advice me in this situation?
Swapping from address mining to account mining has no effect on your total reward.

As your address ramps down, your account ramps up, the sum of the 2 is the same as not changing.

The only side effect is that there can be some extra dust, at the start of the new ramp up and end of the old ramp down, that will not be paid out until I finish the accounting.

The more that join, the shorter the 5Nd takes, and the lower the variance gets Smiley

Very happy to be almost kicked out of the Top 100!

The most important thing to do is stay patient. I mined here last month for about 2 weeks, then left and came back with more hashing power. Regret leaving, because as others have posted, it takes time to reach your full potential. Mine on!

Good move - we also charge a bit less than half the fees Smiley

Not that it is any of my business but I am just curious...

Do you guys leave all your mining rewards in your wallet, do you take out your operating expenses, do you take out all your mined rewards in profits?

I have been just leaving all my mined rewards in my wallet over the past few months. Was wondering what others do as there are so many posts about people needing to have "daily" rewards paid out.
Though I've never met any, there are people who mine bitcoin who have a guy standing behind them with a gun awaiting the payments for their electrical bill every hour Smiley
Though it costs them quite a lot in transaction fees Tongue

I heard about those kind of people...  Grin

Everyone will have their own variation but I personally leave everything and cash out only my operating expenses and when I decide to purchase anything mining related (another rig, AwesomeMiner subscription, etc).

None of the other blocks had matured, when we find the next block at least the first two will show up (and hopefully the third as it still has 22 confirms left).  That's how Bitcoin works, doesn't matter if it's at this pool, another pool, or solo.

Ahhh, OK thank you!  I hadn't realized that the other two hadn't matured before the most recent block was found.  The pool's incredible luck this weekend gave me a weird situation for my first payouts!  I appreciate the quick response, thanks.

Using normal luck, the next block we find will have three payments in it.  It is nice though to have been involved, can't complain as that pays a month of hosting!

Hey everyone, let me start off by saying I am very much a noob to all of this!  I've been reading as much as I can and am starting to feel like i've got a handle on the basics of how Kano pool works and pays, etc (or at least I thought I did).

I've got a question for you guys, and the simple answer might be I just need to wait, but I just want to make sure there isn't a problem going on that I need to get in front of.

I joined the pool on 1/10 and have been part of the past four blocks that have been found.  When the first block, #503962, was found, my data appeared on the reward page.  Once the block matured, the payment appeared on the payment page and my coinbase wallet was almost immediately credited with the reward.  However, there have been three additional blocks found since, two of which have matured.  My payment page on Kano shows that four payments have been made, however coinbase still only shows the initial payment.

Is this normal?  Do I just need to wait longer for the payments to make their way through the system?

As I stated above, I'm not trying to be impatient, I'm just worried that something might be wrong since the first one went through so quickly.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Any news on bringing SG node back kano? It was really having half the latency for my region than all other current servers. Going to switch back to Kano soon...
After 3 days of problems and they didn't supply any reason, I don't think I'll bring that one back online.
Since then, it has completely lost connection once again - I've left it running without the mining node running.

An extra 50-100ms doesn't really mean much in the big picture of 600,000ms average per block Smiley

Thanks for your quick response as always. Appreciate that!
