I wonder if that is why the price has fell off.

Seems like the block reward is up because people are unloading bitcoin.

The site I am writing is monitoring and logging the kano home page every minute (some stats are on the minergain dot com home page).  I have it coded to send me an alert when it changes and it does so within the minute.  Since this is a free forever site, I have to be careful how I spend my time.  That said, I could easily hard-code to send an email to everyone who has signed up and set the Kano pool monitoring up until I get my settings page done.  Eventually you will be able to specify a text address and select which gets notices for every block, the first profitable block, every profitable block for the day or a count of the day's blocks when greater than 0.  Eventually you will be able to put your power voltage / wattage for each miner in the system with different power rates per month to help calculate profitability.  If there is interest, I will hard code an email to everyone signed up tonight.  I also have every daily BTC price to US dollar and plan to get the dollar value at the time each block was found by mid January.
Ok, so I spent the time and added a settings area where you can enter your phone's texting information and I have it where you can setup so that the system emails (and optionally texts you if you setup the number) when a block is found.  The other options are not alive yet but will be.  To set it up, sign in, click on the monitor tab, click on pools on the left side.  Select the BTC (bitcoin) coin then the Kano pool.  Enter your username and api token and at the bottom set the pool alerts as you would like them.  Again, all that is working now is none or "each block found".  This was a rush job so I will add more info about the block that was found when I get some time.  Hope you all have many wonderful year end holiday celebrations and mine on!

I just looked at GDAX and had a chuckle to myself as I thought about Bitmain... Probably pooping bricks about right now... Good luck with your price gouging hike.

Thanks for looking, I'm not sure what I'm missing, my public key is 1A4GSrBfzn1hb4867RWg46BLLRUhY6rGoH, on the payments page it shows a payment on the 19/Dec, but I don't see it yet in my wallet, I assume just being too impatient and not doing something wrong? Any guidance appreciated.

You are just being too impatient.  If you go to the link Kano pointed out which is the transaction our reward is in:

https://btc.com/9cfe4008a309f34a02729e90d3d2bd8e297cd64311602fd2ba705959db496ff6

and then you search for your address:

1A4GSrBfzn1hb4867RWg46BLLRUhY6rGoH

you should find it there listed for:

0.01035737 btc

That's what you'll get once the transaction is added to a block (given the backlog and the fees paid, that probably won't happen until we find our next block). You can always go to the site above and see what the status of the transaction is (currently 0 confirmations, which is why you can't see it in your wallet yet).

Thanks for the info and to VRobb, Think I now understand how it works a  bit more.

WOW  24, that almost doubles our income!  Guess no one wants our 45000 satoshi transaction in there! :-)
 Not yet anyways.

Unconfirmed transactions is 245 000 right now.  So many people wanting Bitcoin!
The 42000 sat is simply to make it visible.
If the fees are high, it wont confirm until we find a block after I send it.
If the fees are low, then some other pool might confirm it, after I send it, before we do.
Thanks, Kano. I did figure that out pretty quickly when I saw your first post that you'd sent it; but then realized it would be the next block that would push it. Same-o...same-o, eh?

Yeah all as normal.
But alas, when blocks are showing a high 10+BTC in transaction fees, no chance anyone else would confirm our payout Smiley

We haven't found another block yet....right now the kano pool payout's aren't "high" enough to be included in many other blocks yet.   That's the breaks right now, it'll get there in time.  And if we find another block, it's already included in that for us.

CKPool app is always way behind and reporting blocks found days after they were found. I stopped using it for that reason.
Do you use anything instead?

Block? CKPool app just said we found block 500096 was found by koelby.s93. Normally someone posts here quick but it has been a few minutes with no post about finding the block. Is the app right? Did we find a block?

The CKPool app reported the Solo Pool block...not ours.

When you look at the app, it just scrolls our last block 500096 through but it does send out an alert when the solo.ckpool hits one.

Yes, block 500096 was found already 59h 18min ago.  Wink

https://www.kano.is/index.php?k=blocks

I thought it seemed funny that the alert in the app matched that block which was why I was confused.
