I still see the unconfirmed txn in my wallet, since early yesterday.  Fees are going through the roof atm...  Shocked
Hmmm...I haven't seen it at all. Not received. I'd be less concerned if it was there but unconfirmed.

I was on and offline repeatedly the past two days with rebuilding the primary workstation...could have something to do with it, I guess. I would have expected it to be there by now, but longer waits have happened.

Free mining equipment tracking and reporting
It would be the same thing if he sold then instead of just threw away..  he saw the effort of selling them back then not really worth the effort.  So he is basically complaining of selling a stock early..  the only reason he 'lost' $100 million is that he had no way of selling earlier or now
So true.  I recently had a security audit and my auditor saw my mining operation and told me that he was super smart.  He bought 50 BTC at $3 each and doubled his money!  So yes, in any other environment doubling your money in a month or so is amazing.  I guess this "wild west" just makes everyone nervous and excited at the same time and not sure what to do - except whine I guess!

he thought it was worth nothing - damn shame I have no sympathy for any of these morons in these stupid stories that pop up every so often about someone who threw away their bitcoin.

Simple answer is, if you throw something away ... you threw away ... that's your bad luck.
Should the rubbish guys hang on to all the rubbish everyone throws away just in case they want it back ... lulz ... ... ...

I remember there being a thread here about someone saying how they felt sick coz of the money they lost due to some stupidity ...
Someone so obsessed with money that it makes them sick ... lulz. Some people clearly needs to work out their priorities in life Tongue

I sold 80 LTC a year ago for a couple pair of really nice sneakers for me and my gal..  we enjoyed all the times we were out with them but yeah..  we now 'lost' 100 more pairs of sneakers since LTC blew up in price   Shocked Cheesy

Well I paid 128 BTC for a BFL FPGA miner ... long ago Smiley

obviously, if you spent 128 BTC on a miner (long ago), it is well understood that you did so with the premise to mine at least 128 BTC (and some!) with that machine...

hence, no issues.... Smiley
Lulz, no I've no idea how much it mined.
Like all the other miners I've got, it's been to support them and their drivers.

I have rejected being given miners on more than one occasion due to disagreements with the people who made them.

Over time I've had way, way more BTC than I now have.
My interest has been BTC, not gathering truck loads of it (or money either)

i get that... what i meant was that value is relative...-and quite distractive.

I have no issues about that, and certainly no "OMG I lost millions" Smiley

I'd guess most people in these stories are either trying to get people to give them stuff or get some money for the story.

The $127million guy ... where was he a year ago when they were worth $6million ...

Ha!  The stuff I've spent BTC on...

Kano, Can you tell me if this is bad for my s9

From kano.is
Work Diff  :Last Share  Shares    :Diff               :Share Rate  «Elapsed  :Invalid  Block %  :Hash Rate
13.338k    4s               40,950     546,191,100   13.51THs      7m 38s   0.071%  0.050%   14.52THs

and on my s9 miner status:
DIFF      GETWORKS    ACCEPTED    DIFF1#    DIFFA#         DIFFR#     DIFFS#    Rejected     Discarded   Stale     LS DIff  LS Time
13.3K     9474             75884           0             937884542   786224     0             65              151921      6           13338  0:00:06

I do have 4738 HW erros on one chain, and 36 HW, and 33 on the other hash boards.  Not sure why the one is so high.

Specifically I am worried about the Invalid .071% being higher than the .050 Block %

What would you say the avg reward was for someone running a single S9 if they had topped out their shares? I am trying to get a feel for if my .077 was what an avg reward would look like based upon the prevailing conditions.

k.

One S9 for the block below was
Block 500096
Your BTC 0.00889154

Great, thanks! I am doing some maths but since I was only into that last block for 3 or 4 days, I wasn't sure if my reward was a good indicator of what one could expect if they had been all in.

Thanks again...

k.
