dont know why i didnt see any connections. i tried to add nodes in the console but didnt accept the addnode=node command
also tried to make a .conf file but that didnt work either.

i made that. and named it katz.conf but when i placed in wallet folder it didnt work
i also tried to manually add the nodes but did not accept command.

for win wallet is place for .conf in c/... appdata/roaming where is wallet.dat

yes that is where i placed it. i wonder if anyone can show me a copy of their .conf to see if i made an error or it is fine?

Imho - check firewall port block and log file of wallet if connect to irc

Save the file as Katz.conf

rpcuser=

well i looked at the log file and found this:

Loading addresses...
ERROR: CAddrman::Read() : open failed
Invalid or missing peers.dat; recreating
Loaded 0 addresses from peers.dat 5ms

so i will use the example you provided above to re-create my .conf now as for the rpcuser password and ip do i leave it blank?
