edit: It came!!!

Holy s**t this thing is freaking amazing!  It's almost a sin to even post pictures of it because they do not even come close to doing it justice but here goes anyway.  I have number 478/2500.

I am blown away.  The craftsmanship and design are simply stunning.  If you don't have one these you are doing it wrong!

Thanks Max  Smiley

That is great news indeed!!
I look forward to it.
Make sure to ping me when you are ready to sell it.

Any plans for a 1BTC bar?

Your blog says no but maybe given the popularity of these you have considered it?

No tentative plans, as these pieces were designed to be art pieces first, cold storage second - but considering the number of requests I'm not prepared to rule it out entirely. Perhaps a small limited run? I will say I have plans to produce a 2015 coin first, and I'm excited to get started on it. It will be more complex than this one.

Awesome to hear a 2015 is in the works!
I got mine and I've very happy with it  Grin Someone correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't this be the first physical coin to label in the "bits" denominations?
Also, has anyone found a good way to protect and display these? I've got mine in a baseball case but it doesn't look very good.
