hammurabi   19xx   10 June   1   0   0   Poland   None   16th October (received today)
hammurabi   20xx   11 June   0   1   0   Poland   None   shipping (NOT received yet)

jupiter is running at average speed of 506 Ghash/s as reported in cgminer (ssh; screen -r)
(5s):523.3G (avg):507.2Gh/s | A:213920  R:1298  HW:25100  WU:7262.6/m

What else.
1. Poor handling by DHL - package had a hole in it and there is a minor bump on jupiter.
But that is normal in case of DHL (happened to me couple of times with them). I think they use catapults to cross Baltic Sea.
2. Poor packaging. Jupiter was in very thin box without foil. If DHL hit on the other side of the package then the control board would surely have been destroyed.
3. Also didn't receive tracking number.
4. Temps: 50 - 57 st.C.
5. From time to time cgminer reports restarting cores due to 10HW errors in a row. FW is 0.95.

Why are you posting "Date of Reception" with dates that occur in the future???

You either have it or you don't
Usually when UPS gives your tracking number, you have a programmed date of delivery. The dates that occur in the future corresponds to that date.
I consider that once UPS has your miner, you'll have it in your house. Only in rare cases does the package get lost or is kept by customs.

I have a July 2nd paid date and my went from "In Progress" back to "Paid"

Spoke to Liam. They thought that because I was unhappy with KNC, they offered me a refund but they did not want to produce my order until I told them yes or no however I never at one point asked for a refund.

He told me since I did not want a refund my order will be put through at the front of the line tomorrow.

Here's hoping this actually happens.

Bitcoin is the future...

All
As you are aware we have missed our own set deadline to ship the entire backlog of orders by October 15th
After yesterday’s factory output we can now say we are currently 3-5 days behind in the factory and the hosting setup at current speed which we are trying to increase in all ways possible.
We appreciate that while this is not good news for anyone who has not received a box we are only a few days away from completing our promise.
We will continue to post a news update on our site every day stating how many boxes have been shipped and how far behind the end of the queue we are.
Yesterday the factory produced and shipped 350 boxes and we expect the same number to be shipped per day over the next coming days.
Thanks
KnCMiner Team

Why am I not on this list when I have numerous systems ordered and my username is also adeel06?

Did you post your order info here in the correct format?
This thread isn't somehow data linked to KNC...it is tirelessly maintained by one of our own generous forum members.

Thanks for organizing this list A Fox!

CMMPro   25xx   22 June   0   1   0   Canada   None     "In progress"

My order updated to "Shipped" this afternoon sometime.
Your welcome.
I actually started this list when KNC opened their orders on the 3rd of July.
It was to easily see how many people ordered and where KNC is with shipping, I didn't believe them a second with their Day 1 and 2 shipping.

Why am I not on this list when I have numerous systems ordered and my username is also adeel06?
Like CMMPro said, if you didn't give me your order information (by private message or on this thread) you won't be listed here, as I'm not affiliated to KNC.

Some are leaving via DHL as well...
Orama, could you ask KnC why hosted customer's orders are still in Paid while shipped and local pick up fly out the door?

It's just the way the order system updates. Hosting just goes straight to shipped at the point in the queue the hosted boxes are situated. It's just a case of turning boards on when it's your turn now. It's based on full payment date.
Can you get an explanation why management didn't simply fill up the DC with the hosted orders, then test and resolve any problems before shipping to distant customers?  An explanation beyond "queue order", please.  It seems it would have been not only deployment 101 and common sense, but it was also a missed great business decision which would have had the hosted customers hashing "within hours" (with initial problems, yes, but at least the promise would have been kept) and avoided all the firmware problems encountered.

I am just trying to get my head around why they didn't go in that direction from the outset...

#6509

I am hosted but not hashing.  I have no idea when I will be hashing now that the Oct. 15 date is gone.  If you can also get them to issue a statement about compensation for missed dates and a statement about when they anticipate the very LAST order in the Oct. 15 queue will be shipped, that would also be helpful.  I think the general consensus and expectation in the community is that non-Day 1/2 orders will not be considered less important or significant than those who have been compensated to date provided they are still waiting in the Oct. 15 queue.

Thanks for all your help!

Hosting didn't buy anyone a spot at the front of the line....it was always supposed to be that when they reached your order number your unit in the data center would be switched on (as opposed to shipping your unit across the planet to you).

But this is all OT anyway, so maybe take this to the KNC main thread.
