Of course I'm still positive to their R&D ability, if they can make a working FPGA unit in a couple of months, then making ASIC should not take much more time, anyway Avalon/bASIC/BFL also spent years on their FPGA product line

Maybe it wasn't 1 year for BFL to develop the ASICs, maybe it took 1 month and then 11 months of just mucking around.

Even they had a working FPGA unit, they just reached Avalon/bASIC/BFL's status about one year ago, and the project's success will depend on their ability to deliver ASIC products in a relatively short time frame, big challenge

If they are going to use structured ASIC, that might make it possible to deliver before October, but if they are aiming for a total re-design of the rig...

From their Saturn specification, I guess that is 4x6=24 ASIC chips doing 175GH, 7.3GH per chip on 28nm technology. BFL's design is 3GH per chip on 65nm technology, 16 core, took almost 1 year to develope

any news of the knc factory?

any miner do you see?
any photos?

with a 4000 pre order number and a late comer, we don't know if our order will take a very long period of time to processed? if they allowed some type of payments arrangement like a reservation fee or instalment plan otherwise why would we want to get our money pay to you but not receiving anything for many months. Buyers need to be protected. For such a big amount payment by credit card is a hassle because we need to pay the monthly interest charges. Let us fight for a decent payment plan.

Dude the monthly instalment plan is a surcharge for them covering your ass and assuming liability!

If it's that much beef, pay the debt off straight away!!

Though if you wait before handing your CCard company the funds until you receive the item it's less hassle claiming funds back if you need to.

Oh no, he's in a league of its own. I'm just doing my due diligence. I still need to decrypt the Swedish but it looks like they're expecting a big 2013 year. It's also possible their accountant writes like a woman.

I'm not taking this too seriously either but I don't like shady business practices and I love to debunk the BS that flies around the KNC threads.
Well if you want to see shady business practices there's always plenty around that's much worse than any of this regarding KnCMiner. What we need to do is push them to accept credit card payments, because that's not something they seem to plan to be doing, even though it's the only payment method offering some protection.

Can't say more,  you mentioned that clearly and part payments or even installments until we see a working & functioning Jupiter and Saturn Miner ready to shipped to you. " Is like Houston do you read me and we say over and clear " Smiley

What a happy coincidence.
Are you applying for the second Sherlock Holmes position, after Phinnaeus?

kncminer, to stop this buzz, you should proof you work and show us your miner prototypes asap. Upload your videos. Everyone is waiting for it pretty long. Please bring the proof of your work to the public now! Show us what you are capable of.

Good call for them to show more proof of their work and pay them when the mining hardware are ready to be collected not earlier.

What are the chances that an EVE is actually signing on the ORSoC Annual Reports? What a happy coincidence.

can we create a list of people who will attend to the open day ?

i will be there on wednesday, 5th of june,  2nd show

there was a list of questions collected. is it clear who will ask them ? can we get some practical organizing done instead of bashing each other? we should try to make the open day as effective as possible.

Remember to asked for proof on the 28nm Asic chip for Jupiter & the Saturn Miner. Save all the questions on your smartphone/computer or print them out. Question them until they answer to your satisfaction. Make sure you also asked for partial payment or just a reservation fee until their products is ready for the delivery before full payments. Smiley

Surely we need buyers protection and a small sum of payment to confirm the order before full payment for actual delivery in September 2013.

Bitcoin: An Idea Worth Spending
http://opencores.org/shop,items

Why is KNCMiner paying Google to place an ad on ORSoC site? The product/company is beneficial to both parties. They don't need to spend a single cent on advertise on each other's sites.

You're trying bit too much...

Adsense ads are contextual ads and when purchased are run on whole network of sites with related content.

Who do you think is paying for the ad? I've shown it's ORSoC. What you say?
