I have earnestly looked into gambling and also into trading and I can tell you for a fact that there are loads of similarities that exists amongst them.

In trading, you need to know when to go in and when to go out, same applies to gambling, you need to know when to start but most importantly, you must know when to stop which is when to call it quit with either your loss or your win.

Yes in terms of risk management maybe gambling and trading can be said to be the same because there is a possibility of risk that continues to lurk, self-control, emotions, along with knowing when to stop is really recommended when you are involved in one or even both because then you will be able to minimize the possibility of defeat or loss, but maybe the difference is that in gambling there is absolutely nothing to learn because gambling tends to refer more or depend on how lucky you are at that time, while in the world of trading you can learn everything there slowly from learning and understanding the habits of the market until you can create your own strategy to open a trade at one of the moments that match the strategy you created and the higher your flying hours in the world of trading then you will have the opportunity to become a professional trader who can get a pretty decent profit, the point that looks the same from both of these between gambling and trading is in terms of risk management and for the problem of achieving victory or profit is clearly different, for the problem of trading as I said above and for the problem of gambling you can only depend on luck alone.

Yet if you are talking about intraday-trading, there are more losers than winners as it is a zero sum game and I would argue that the best software or the strongest artificial intelligence or the most sophisticated processors win the zero sum game. I am aware that there are a bunch of people claiming how they cracked the magic formula and they generate profits on a daily basis, but the truth is that most of the people lose while there are a few that win and those who engage in day-trading occasionally and then finish their sessions with a profit, it's really like gambling to me. Everyone who tried it out and wanted to time the market or beat the market on a specific day will know that it has a lot to do with luck as there are so many people engaged in trading who on average have access to the exact same information. Algorithms beat the human brain there.

Yes you are right mate, the ability of the gambler to have a stoppage time is his only exit from loses on the long run, this is because he will have more loses than winning and at that will end in either debts or other financial crisis, Many times it has been proven, that those that have a well defined gambling timing always end up making the best gambling decision and their have been able to manage themselves to a point that the walk away in which ever direction they may fine themselves.

So knowing when to stop is Very important for a gambler and many times it has become a known facts to have limits to everything if you want to go far in that thing.
And if they experience more losses because they have spent more time, they should reduce their gambling time or activities because they could experience more losses. Using more time to gamble does not guarantee that they will win, but they can lose more than before. For this reason, they must be aware that the decision to increase their gambling time does not need to be taken to prevent more losses.

We must reduce or limit our gambling activities to prevent large losses. And we can still enjoy gambling games with enough time, especially if we only gamble for fun. Those who want to gamble longer should be able to think about the risk of losing more, which could cost them all their money.
The more time we spend gambling, the more we will experience continuous bigger losses. There are no consecutive profits when we gamble. So the first step that must be taken is to stop and not try to recover your losses because if you continue to gamble to chase your losses, you will only lose money. will experience increasingly unstoppable losses and it will be increasingly difficult to pursue them.
Someone who thinks of using more time to gamble to recover their losses is making the wrong decision, so don't ever try to continue chasing losses because the risk of losing will be even greater.

Yes, it would be good if you could manage your time when gambling and limit your gambling so that you can prevent yourself from experiencing big losses and also prevent you from becoming addicted, we have to consider the risk of loss if you want to continue gambling, enjoy gambling as entertainment so you know when what to stop and when to play.
Actually depends on what kind of gambling you are really that dealing with. If you are someone whose really that getting involved with betting on sports then it would be something that beneficial or something that would really be progressive. Things wont really be messy if you are really just that mindful when it comes to spending or allocating funds when it comes to betting. There would really be no problems
if you do really just know about on limitation and spending. You wont really be finding any culprits if you are really that just responsible withn your actions because if you dont then dont expect
that it would give out good results.

When it comes on knowing on when to stop then it would really be that depending on someones control and since not all would really be that good when it comes to emotion handling.
This is why we do see different people who do suffer different results and different outcomes on which this is something that you would really needing to control it out
because once you do then there would really be no problems at all.

Indeed,  when a gambler lose instead of taking a break and pause for a while they will deposit more money in hope that they will be able to regain and recover those money,  but because of heavy aggressiveness you won't be able to resist their list, the outcome is more unacceptable most of the time,  like what you said being anger drives you  to continue losing more money.
Efforts to recover losses will always result in greater losses, they will lose money many times over if efforts to recover losses cannot be suppressed or avoided.
Just imagine, when gambler loses and deposits more money, they will lose the amount of money deposited and this will trigger curiosity which is covered by emotional feelings until self-control will no longer be controlled.
The negative impacts that will occur can also be greater, in fact the negative impacts that occur will always bring gamblers into conditions that make it difficult for themselves, who knows how to overcome them, but when gambler has an attitude like this then destruction is clearly in sight.
The only way is to be able to accept every defeat that occurs, but accepting defeat is not an easy matter because their goal of gambling is wrong, when the goal is only to make money then clearly losing is something that can never be accepted.
This will be different from gamblers who only bet or play for fun, gamblers who bet for fun will obviously only use money that they can afford to lose so that when they lose it will be payment for getting that pleasure and satisfaction.

Proper balance of both time and money to spend inside gambling is for a good factor to prevent addiction, you need to control everything as most of the time emotion really play a big factor when playing, but if you have proper balance it won't be hard for you to set your limitation it's very important that you have set both limit for winning and losing, that factor adds up to prevent losing a lot and messing with your time and finances.
We must be able to manage the time and money that will be used for gambling and so that this can work well, we need the discipline that can prevent us from using excessive money and time. We also have to be able to control our emotions when gambling so we don't lose self-control while gambling. And the limits we create can help us enjoy gambling so that we don't mess up our time and finances. We can stop on time and still have money to gamble another day.

The more time a player devotes to the game, the faster he will lose his money (if he does not reach the jackpot). In general, I am not against the fact that a player spends a lot of time gambling, but then he must answer the question of how he wins, if he is sure that he will win in the end, be it the casino or other players. Does he develop at the same time, such as poker skills, does this happen every day. If the answer is yes, then that's good. But if a player presses the button and spins, hoping only for luck, then I’m almost sure that he will lose everything completely, because there is no development at all in this type of game. How does he imagine his future life, for example, in 5 years, he will still press the same button and the jackpot will fall on his head? I doubt it. Sometimes I even think that these are just lazy people who don’t want to do anything. Maybe it's time for them to think about it?
We don't know how or whether he can win at gambling but playing gambling for a long time can make him lose control of himself because the temptation of gambling games will increase. And when he tries to continue gambling, he will fall into temptation and he will not be able to realize that he has been gambling for too long. He will only feel pleasure in gambling so he will not realize that he has lost a lot of money. Those who frequently gamble will continue their gambling activities for perhaps the next 5 years. However, those who are aware of the bad effects of gambling will try to reduce their gambling activities until they can stop gambling forever. Moreover, when gambling, we don't need to gamble for too long because we are the ones who should be in control of ourselves so we have to know when we should stop gambling.

In the end, just make sure you have a brain to think with your logic, if you don't have a brain or your brain stop stopped working, I'm not surprised if someone end up become a gambling addict.

To know if gambling affect your personality and your life, just ask to people around you and if you have something that you're not fulfilled due to not enough money, you can make try to evaluate yourself.

Sometimes gamblers let their emotions conceal their ability to know when to stop gambling or staking. Sometimes when such persons make gambling stakes and lose , the tend to stake angrily again and again and before they know what is going on they had already staked way above their budget.
For gambling activities that requires a lot of calculations and reasoning for surer wins , the problem can even become worse because such emotional rush can even cause the gambler not to think straight and hence lose consecutively.

Knowing when to stop is not actually about your losing side but could also be on our winning side. It is important on both sides for me. It limits your loss and it maximize your winnings. If you apply it on one side things will become unbalanced and might drive negative results.
Thank you for this, there is some advice that is not so general, and I will always say that when we are advising regarding gambling, we should ensure that it portrays the moment and the situation, it can't be such that can cover for all situations. Like in losing, one can continue to gamble and might recover back their losses. Yes, a single winning could cover up for the past losses, but what if out of fear the gambler didn't proceed to bet on the one that caused that winning? The same thing goes for winning, we can say that it is all about greed when we win and continue to play, but when we play more and win more, won't we be happy?

Not that I am encouraging excessive gambling, but one must know their limits and must have their plans before they bet, that is my own, not that a general and random advice will be fitting for all categories of gambling sectors and individual personality, and that is not true. Once there are goals towards gambling, there should be plans and budgets, and if one could ensure that they are handled professionally and without emotions, I am sure that it will only be positive. Even if the gambler loses, it will not be much as the account would have been better managed with the preplanned measures in place.

It is in human nature that we would want to seek more let alone when it involves making money, you will ever be tempted to make more money, but regardless, we should set limits to everything, and try to bound yourself with the amount of time you will spend gambling and the amount of money you spend too, with this you will be able to control the urge to go way above your limit, else you won't know when to call it a day.

That feeling of "just one more spin" or "maybe this time I'll hit it big" can be tough to resist, especially when the cash keeps flowing. But let's be real, that jackpot dream is kinda like waiting for a rainbow-farting leprechaun to bring you riches. Not impossible, but not exactly the best plan, ya feel?

The truth is, gambling is designed to be addictive. It's like a funhouse mirror, showing you distorted reflections of potential wins while hiding the reality of the odds. So, relying on that big score is like chasing butterflies with a net made of cheese – you might get lucky, but it's probably not gonna end well.

The real win, isn't about stopping when your pockets are empty. It's about being the boss of your bets, setting limits like a champ, and knowing when to walk away, even if it feels like Lady Luck is right there, whispering sweet nothings in your ear.

I believe that indeed all gamblers will definitely get the occasional win, although if we look at the overall loss is more dominant, but we can see how they feel when they succeed in winning, especially with an amount that they think is tempting, then usually there will be a change in perspective for some people, such as which I have said before, and it has been confirmed that for those who come with the aim of winning, it is clear that when they succeed in getting victory, usually an increase in hope and confidence will occur in their minds, as you said, victory is like a double-edged sword, it could be that hurt yourself.

On the other hand, there are many gamblers who are easily fooled by their first win, as I said above, especially if they come with the intention of doubling, however, placing hope in winning is really the wrong approach in gambling because that hope will actually make you lose. a gambler is increasingly aggressive in pursuing what he wants, and it is not uncommon for us to see them even going so far as to do anything just to gamble in pursuit of victory which they think is the result they will definitely get even though in fact it is nothing more than just a hallucination in the brain because of the influence of hope.

This is the danger when we go down the wrong path in gambling, because gambling is not to earn money but is nothing more than an activity to fill free time without any certainty about the answer to the final result, I think only a few people can use the money from their winnings wisely like you say by using some of their winnings for other things such as investing in an investment asset that can increase their amount of money, in fact they will only return to spending that money on gambling at a later time.
Every gambler gets their chance, but don't overlook the cloud. Gambling should be seen as enjoyment, not a way to make money. The issue is when the pleasure of a win blinds one to odds, which always favour the house. Here, we leave the gloomy route. Gambling can be healthy if done properly. Setting limitations, never betting more than you can afford to lose, and occasionally reinvesting earnings can be rewarding. Gamble moderately and remember that gambling is a game of chance

True, every gambler has the possibility of getting a chance to win because after all gambling is a "chance and probability" activity which means you can win and you can lose too, but only a few of the gamblers can take advantage of the opportunity to enjoy what they have won, the average hope exceeds everything, and in such a situation it is not strange if they use all the money from their winnings with the aim of getting a bigger win, this is like combining hope with greed. Well that's right, the problem is that winning blinds a person to the "odds", meaning that they seem to think that the odds are a certainty that will be able to get, when it is nothing more than a "possibility of winning", of course gambling can be used as a place to practice discipline, responsibility, management and other aspects, but overall very few people can look into this part, basically of course as you said that after all gambling is always about odds and profit, so it is really not recommended to overdo it.

If your aim is to win big before stopping then you are still doing it wrong, either small or big win you need to stop and secure the gains first, postpone your gambling till another time, it's very hard to get lucky in gambling but when you finally get lucky do not let greed take over your mind, you can easily start over by losing all again, take your win and enjoy your gains, come back to gamble another time.

In many country, the reason why many gamblers find it hard to quit is because of the pressure on them, the situation of the country have big effect on almost everyone, this is why it's even deadly to have no job and start gambling, you will end up with depression or anger, do not let the economy of your country make you a gambler, thus is wrong, you must have something that can give you money first, even if it's few amount of money.

I don't have to win, even when I lose my money I stop gambling, that's the amount I can sacrifice per my days in gambling, I know I won't get lucky all the time, it's a matter of understanding, and I don't want to lose a lot either before I win, all I can do is to comfortable keep losing that tiny amount of money until my luck find me again.

Well, it is difficult that our aim is to aim for a big jackpot prize, because the more we seek to win a large amount of money, the longer it takes for it to happen for sure. That's because, usually, the ones who experience the jackpot are the ones who are really lucky to win.

And none of us knows when we will experience or when luck will come to us; that will be our only problem. So,  if luck doesn't really come to us, it will just appear in the end that the waiting time will be wasted that we will do. Right?
Frequent winning is one of the things that could always trigger us to gamble more and that should not make us an accessible gambler at all. Risk management would help us stay safe in gambling and not risk more than we can chew. Understanding of the various ways we can gamble and make money for ourselves is one of the ways we could make money for ourselves without much difficulty. We need to know when we ought to stop gambling and when we should continue because this is one of the ways we can benefit from gambling with making profits and losing it back to betting.

agree with what you said that the most important thing for a gambler when they win is that they need to secure what they have got, because that is the most important thing. If players choose to play again using the money they have earned previously, then the chances of them losing more money will be very high and therefore it is better to save what they have earned and postpone playing again for some time. Just don't force yourself to play again, because the results will very likely be different.

Some people makes it hard to themselves when they don't have anything anymore and force to play more instead of making it their last attempt for their million dollars luck quest. That's why if you are one of those who stop themselves on playing and other source to make money and  become successful with that, you want to tell others that there are lots of opportunity out there and some of that opportunity might fit and also for you.

No doubt that the more we spend time gambling, the more we spend money at a loss. But I just wonder why many people are still doing this despite the know the possible results. Maybe in the reason that they have been chasing back the losses in the past days and they keep thinking that luck will come around so they keep gambling. And such kind of thinking leads them to another loss, repeated again and again until they are found guilty of their wrong assumptions and decide to stop.

Unless we are rich people who don't care about losing. But for poor or average people, this cannot be and should not be made habitual, or else, they just fool themselves.
