I've decided to go for the CoinsSource verification process. http://www.coinssource.com/trust-index-verification/
I'm in touch with the CoinsSource team now so should start the process soon.
Once the block explorer and Mac wallets are built and tested I'll put the countdown timer on the website (after finally confirming launch date/time).

The following items have now been built (and tested):
1. Source Code
2. Linux and Windows wallets
Still to be built:
1. Block Explorer
2. Mac wallet
3. Android wallet (may not be ready for launch but should be ready for start of PoS)
I'm in touch with the guys at CryptoCertify regarding certification, but the certification process itself has not yet started. Once certification has started and I know how long it takes I can get on with arranging a launch date. I'm aiming for the launch to take place late this month or early Feb.
Saturday 31/01/2014 at 23:50 GMT (or 07:00 GMT) looks promising but this is only if all prerequisites for launch have been fulfilled.

I can half see why you say that, but kobocoin is not a community project in that way. Our aim is to be a high technology organization producing cutting edge solutions for an emerging economy. this is getting old! reallll old!

No need to refresh your screen. This launch is not going to happen 'all of a sudden'. A future (well publicized) date will be set once I know how long the certification process will take, and have started the process. At launch, all code and all desktop wallets will be available.
