It seemed to work but still took about 5hrs? I even turned off the wifi to make sure it wasn't over the network it was that slow, it stayed on the importing from bootstrap splashcreen on the wallet, I checked and it was just slowly slowly building the blkindex in the roaming folder.   I was expecting it to be much quicker but I don't think i've used a bootstrap before, maybe for btc a couple of years ago. Can't remember how long that took.

Got to head off to work, will chuck up  on mega nz in 10 or 12 hrs

Hi MM, I got my account back (yay) intime to help out hehe!

Thank you for links  Wink
Can now someone post fresh bootstrap file, because i will sync my wallet 1 week.Thank you
Yes,i need bootstrap file .I will buy kore but please post bootstrap file for fast synch.

The wallet will sync with the new peers.dat, and it will not take a week but maybe 24hrs at the moment. The first time I opened the wallet I left mine open overnight and it was synced by morning.

I can probably make a new bootstrap file, or if someone on here used the old one we can possibly just upload it again, but a more up to date one would be better anyway.

Just looking seems too easy, I will just test what I have made then get to uploading if it works.

Let us know if you've done it, else I can give it a go.

Thanks DF for giving a timely response!

I sent word for someone to do it but if anyone can help with the bootstrap
sooner then please do.
We should always have a relatively up to date bootstrap available from now on
and will try to make that happen.
Actually DF if you find it not too time consuming what do you think about
posting one up every few weeks?

hello fellow supporters.

Curious about the website, whats happening there?

Also, is there a whitepaper that I can make available to investors?

Thanks,
john

Hi John and ALL,
Thanks for your interest and support of the network in staking korecoin.
There are some changes in play.
Below is an old post explaining where we are at.

A new OP page is being put together but a few key people
are experiencing health issues so it's delaying us a bit.
However this time was actually more than required to get our NDA
into shape and a few other things to further build the team.

Right now what we are in most need of is a kick butt .NET Coder
with an acceptable level of ethics and Honor that could join the Team.

MikeMike

EDIT: I see someone has already posted the link to the info post.
Please use the Github Wallet and replace peers.dat file if a connection issue.

Here is the link anyway:

Korephone Æther OS SDK Update:

Some were having issues with errors in the SDK Main Installer Package.
This "Package" was made as an aid to those with less coding experience.
It seems some thought we were not serious about Æther OS being real.

Our Dev put up a "Manual SDK Package" on the XDA Forums for more skilled developers.

Why the Æther Kripton OS was created:

"Linux creator says Windows, OS X, iOS and Android are all malware:

Richard Stallman, known for his instrumental role in the creation of Linux, has written an opinion piece
arguing that nearly any operating system you might use today can be considered malware,
and that goes for popular mobile platforms as well as desktop operating systems."

UPDATE:

I've been away at a Family wedding this last week that was a few time zones away.
The Kore Team including myself have been very active during this time
refining the NDA sentence by sentence improving it to a very effective level
acceptable to new Team members, those we are collaborating with
and new people seeking the security an NDA brings.
This alone has taken numerous meetings and much time.
The result of this newly refined NDA is an open door of collaboration allowing the sharing of ideas,
tech and inventions amongst what we would call the "Kore" of the Kore Team.
We recently finished a few 5+ hour long meetings and I must say you will be impressed
with the quality individuals and potential future innovations this could bring people.

If all goes as planned we will be having another highly intelligent creative developer
accept this NDA thereby allowing even more connections and open discussion of how we
can all contribute to what we would like to bring to the CC Communities, Coders and the World.

Rather than wait till we have "the perfect coin/tech/invention etc." I'm trying to encourage the
release of what we are most quickly able to produce or complete to get the tech/etc.
in use and known. It seems most do agree on this approach.

Seriously consider supporting these projects and our developers that have devoted so much of their time,
money and life to these pursuits to be aligned with Korecoin and/or the Korephone as much as possible.
3-4 additional VPSs are currently being configured to keep as much tech in house as we can.
There are also additional Domains and Hosting that will be required as well.

Thanks to those who have taken the poll and contributed to the discussions on the XDA Forums.
If you have not, take a few minutes and take the poll. Your input is valued   Smiley

Glad to hear.
Please post your settings and if you could a "how to" on setting up your Gizmo 2.

Thanks Rw13enlib88 a handy service indeed.

Maybe a simple service like bitcoindial for kore would also be a good idea.

BitcoinDial: Make Calls With Bitcoin!

Remember pay phones? You put a coin in, and you could call someone. No monthly contacts, or expensive hardware to keep in your back pocket. We’ve done that with Bitcoin instead of quarters. Just as private and simple, with no account setup or long-term relationship.
