OH, I did find a small problem... The Social tab is completely white, no tekst or graphics to be seen... Anyone else?

Testing PoS next Smiley Numbers don't seem to make sense, but that's something happening with ALL QT wallets :s

Can't test POS yet bud.......POS does not start until block 89002, we are currently at 79949.

No probs for me with the social tab, all looks great to me there.

I have seen the issue you guy's were talking about where updating a wallet, my old wallet.dat gave probs after update.  I always just load the blockchain with a newly created wallet.dat when this happens, then move my old wallet.dat back in after the blockchain downloads.  I've seen this happen with at least 10 other wallet update before, but this has always gotten me past the problem.

And in the end 1 complaint I forgot about...

When starting the wallet, the website is automatically opened. I only have seen Sherlockcoins v2 wallet do this. And that developer seems to be untrustworthy ;p

Bigger problem is that my PC cannot handle AND PoS wallets start at logon AND a full browser startup: I just don't have the resources and I have to time stuff like this!! It's just bad and annoying practice! Sad Spammie even Smiley

Avast seems to agree with me XD

Still love the wallet though! ;p

xx

The wallet doesn't work quite properly.
First time when  installed ,after I imported the wallet.dat file,  the balance was 0 (ZERO!) KSC.
I was lucky, I always do backups.
I installed the new wallet (C:\Program Files (x86)\Kashmircoin) , then on the C:\Users\your_user\AppData\Roaming I placed the last full updated copy of Kashmircoin
After several minutes, the new wallet started and this time show the good balance.

When a fork occured to other coins,  I just replaced the wallet.dat file, not copied the entire folder..

Hmmm I had the same behaviour the other day with the MMXIV v2 (first release) wallet that got upgraded to MMXIV v2 (second release). There I could not import the old wallet either. I first had to let the newest client create it's own empty wallet and then copy my backup up wallet over it...

MMXIV's wallet is very simple, so I don't think the same source code has been used. So it should not be a source code bug? But I agree: I have seen this happen too without explanation (according to MMXIV developer I even was a dirty FUDDER! Sigh...)

So Kashsmir developer... MAYBE just write the installation instructions like that: create fresh wallet with new client. Replace fresh wallet with backup copy.

But again: I did *nothing* special and it just ran! ;p

FUD FUD FUD

Doing ANOTHER SYSTEM RESTORE - - not sure why I don't FUCKING JUST DELETE THIS SHIT!!!!
Oh - yeah - I'm a long time coin holder !!!!!

MORE FUD FUD FUD

A system restore when you are installing a wallet?? Are you for real? I think first thing for you to do is go on a computer course, learn something about 'puters', no?

I haven't tested solo-mining but all the rest just works without a glidge*. It really is YOUR system messing up. Again, hard drive file system check would  be the first thing on my list to do...

PS: and yes, a wallet backup never ever hurts...

For all bitching... I just installed the wallet. Did not remove anything from %AppData%\Kashmircoin either. Just placed the binaries, started the wallet and enjoyed it.

No crashes. NO missing funds, no nothing but sheer joy!

So again, if you are experiencing crashes... Do a hard disk check!

Sounds like we took a bit different approach, I saw no probs at all the way I did it.

I COPIED the roaming folder to my desktop, I always do this on every update I do.  I of course have many backups of all my wallets across several different flash drives.......so this one step of copying the roaming folder to my desktop is all I need to do, actually is an unnecessary step I suppose with the number of backups I have, but I like to backup the entire thing first.

Then I ran the uninstall of old wallet.  Then I went to the roaming folder and deleted everything, except of course the wallet.dat.  Then I ran the install for the new wallet.  It created and refreshed everything in program files folder.  Ran new wallet and let it sync.

Still, it sounds like there may be some minor bugs to fix with what you guys are experiencing, but though this process worked without a hitch for me.

Yeah, I ran virustotal on it.....not even the usual bitcoin miner warnings, nothing.....nada, zip and zilch:-)

Next I have to say........HOLY SHIT man, I am impressed.  Although I wondered, you were bullshitting when you said you were coming with some heat on this update!!  Took a few minutes to look over this wallet and all the neat little gadgets and I am sure with so many new features there will be some bugs to work out, but I so far have not found any:-)  Still waiting for full blockchain to download again as I started fresh but so far my coins are starting to show and all looks FABULOUS!

Will post again when done to confirm all coins there but I don't expect any probs with that.

Bravo team, BRAVO!!!
