I can run a 24/7 node, but I need current source code. The one on github compiles, but stalls when syncing. I wonder if the original dev could be prodded to release his copy of the source?

Running good.

In a network, a node is a connection point, either a redistribution point or an end point for data transmissions.
(Basically somebody needs to always keep a wallet up and running 24/7 - simple answer)

We need to locate the source code for KSC 1.1.0.0 - ugh

Oh ok means i have to run my wallet 24x7
Seems not possible for me Cry

Hope anyone else does
Anyways i think this is all we have -  https://github.com/kashmircoin/kashmircoin it's 1.0.5 not 1.1 :'\

Damn! when did that happen?
Was KSC so bad for them Wink JK

MB you need to do something , i have my 1.2 KSC stuck with them Undecided

Sad Damn! That's a lot!! Any news from anyone what's up with swisscex??

post-edit: seems swisscex coins are safe and will be refunded... According to their twitter feet.

Anyone still has Kashmir blockchain working and synced? Mine won't connect :/

Mine working all fine , synced from scrap
try these nodes

addnode=107.170.120.197
addnode=198.23.242.217
addnode=188.226.180.141
addnode=115.28.129.207

Or the two Swisscex shared too

Forgot to add: For those who need some nodes:
We are currently connected to those two: 188.166.39.75 104.236.224.33

~Regards Sky

All KSC accounts have already been settled.
You can get your private keys and import into your personal wallet. You can find them under: Accounts -> Settled Accounts (Tab)

Withdrawals won't work. Probably at a later stage but that's still a topic that we have to discuss.

So please save your private keys and your KSC will always be safe.

That is amazing! Thank you . bad to see that such a good exchange is going down. Hope all is fine. Are you planning for a comeback in future?
I have saved the private key but i don't think they can be imported so will wait for withdrawls

Hmm, I assumed you were the one that compiled the executable. Okay, I'm leaving this for now, been trying to get a working client going for some time. Time to concentrate my efforts elsewhere. Smiley

Which source did you compile from, please?

Has anyone tried a sync from scratch to ensure that it actually works?

I think look in wallet: INFO/NEWS

Huh What does this mean? If that's referring to something in your Windows executable, I do not have that, and cannot run that. I just want the URL to the source code. Please! Smiley

Source code is the human readable form of the program, which can be compiled into Linux, Windows, OSX etc applications. Most Bitcoin derived coin code is written in the C++ language.

I can't run a Windows exe file because I am not running Windows on my coin box.

Okay no idea over that
Ask MB

Already did... MB, please answer?

Yeah - we transfer does "time-out" after 2 week I think

Can someone please point me towards source that will sync from scratch?

I have compiled from https://github.com/kashmircoin/kashmircoin , but it stalls at block 82000.

I've asked about 3 or 4 times now but no one seems to be able to help.

Thanks.

Did you downloaded this wallet ?
