Please try this update, I've added ARM support.

I've not tested this as I don't have a rpi, so it's only available on this branch atm before I push to the master:

https://github.com/kryptkoin/KryptKoin/tree/KTKupdates

Also if it only has small amount of ram to setup a swap file to avoid running out of memory.

i try to compile wallet on raspberry pi  but have this error:
g++: error: unrecognized command line option ‘-msse2’
Makefile:873: recipe for target 'build/bitcoin.o' failed
make: *** [build/bitcoin.o] Error 1

I like the direction this coin is going, it's fast approaching a year old and soooo many coins have been created and died during this time, KTK is still here and rightly, taking it's time to find it's place in the world.

With kryptly and Krypteer both live, this opens up opportunities for many people that use the alternative payment methods throughout the world.

Me and some friends will carry on buying directly from the sell side over the coming months, so if you don't want to get short changed I would move your coins to your wallets for staking Smiley

I will also be buying up a lot in the next month, it's obvious this coin is undervalued atm. And yes what dev said is correct about pulling sell orders, people can get 10-20 times profit if they wait. 😄
I just can't understand why this coin has stayed so cheap.

Any coins I purchase won't be coming back on to Bittrex anytime soon either Smiley

volume picking up again  Smiley

Yes, it should considering most people don't know about KTK and how many outstanding projects KTK has alongside a committed DEV. People have no idea sometimes, but that is OK. They will eventually discover what they have been looking for and we'll be here waiting.
The problem with many good coins is lack of PR. Without proper 'shouting' people won't be able to discover the coin, or it will take too long.

I was going to post about the volume/trading last week, but decided not to. But will post now and also reply to uki as it's all related...

It was nice to see some movement on the price, but would be even nicer if those holding KTK on the exchange removed the sell orders. And also didn't sell into the buy wall as soon as there are new orders being placed.

I understand if some are selling and not intending to try and re-buy at a lower price, which I know some do. There is one issue that results from this, which has an effect...

We can all agree the market is small. The problem I have is trying to get anyone else to come on board and help with KryptKoin, even when offering the 800K+ KTK in the bounty pot. Because at the current price they are worth very little (less then 2 btc).

There is a fair amount of KTK on Bittrex, but the actual sell orders listed were low with only 4 btc to 4000 sat (total of 750k last week, has since increased). If everyone would look at the bigger picture and remove all their sell orders and not sell themselves short. It would give a far better return then what they get now. Plus the 800k in the bounty pot would be worth a whole lot more and easier for me to get help and in return bring further value!

When there are signs of volume, people are quick to list below the lowest sell order. Buying at 100-150 sat and selling as soon as there is an increase 200-300 sat. Rinse repeat, but it's relatively small amounts of KTK. No one is getting rich on that!

It's not the first time its happened, those holding on the exchange need to change their thinking! it would help if they removed the low sells below 1000-2000 sat and not sell into the buy wall below that point. The bounty will be a lot more attractive and make my life easier with getting others to help.

The fact the market is small, should make that easy. But not if people continue as is!

With regards to PR, I'm reluctant to spend out of my pocket to fund such things. Because within the crypto space it's very crowded, it makes little sense with how things stand atm in terms of the current wallet spec. But with Kryptly & Krypteer they are both something I can promote directly to my customer list. No funds required, no outsourcing PR, just through my email list. Which will generate sales and at the same time can promote trading on Krypteer, and once paypal is finished on Kryptly that's when I'll start the promotion.

Right now though, if those trading on Bittrex would actually help, I could then use the bounty for hiring which means we can expect updates that matter in the crypto space.

Finishing the remaining Kryptly payment options is important so I can generate some revenue from the work I've already put in. If nothing changes with regards to traders on Bittrex, then updates to the wallet etc will have to wait. My priority is Kryptly/Krypteer and making profit for the people involved (myself, Krypteer partners and those that partake in the profit share).

Don't get me wrong, I do want to update the wallet and add features. Some of the features I'd like to see, I need to bring people on board, that can either happen down the line when I see revenue from Kryptly sales, it can go towards funding wallet updates (the waiting part). Or the traders on Bittrex can help with what I mentioned above and things can progress a lot quicker! Smiley

Download kryptkoin blockchain / bootstrap from the website: it's updated today Smiley

For whom wants, I made a highly compressed torrent of my KryptKoin blockchain, dated April 6th 2015:

magnet:?xt=urn:btih:9DCB124A8DE93535AC86164179D070BA527CF643&dn=KryptKoin%20Blockchain%20dd%2020150405%20by%20scforum.info%20%28devnullius%29.7z&tr=udp%3a%2f%2ftracker.openbittorrent.com%3a80%2fannounce&tr=udp%3a%2f%2ftracker.publicbt.com%3a80%2fannounce&tr=udp%3a%2f%2ftracker.ccc.de%3a80%2fannounce

Hi.
The wallet got stuck on 874348 block.
Anew to download blocks very long.
check just few posts above: post #6027.

See below:
Yep, needs to be downloaded from site as the Amazon S3 bucket is setup to only allow requests from kryptkoin.com

Sometimes that error will occur if you're blocking http referrals, if you continue having a problem with it please let me know and I'll upload to dropbox.
you will get that error if you try this as a link - https://s3.amazonaws.com/kryptkoin/ktk-bootstrap.zip

this should work = http://kryptkoin.com/ scroll down to boot strap

If your wallet is locked, and you want to send coins don't unlock to stake. This is more important if you have lots of small blocks in each address. This sounds like what you have?

When you then enter your password to confirm a transaction, it might stake from another address while it processes the send transaction. Again this goes back to how many blocks in each address, the higher amount means it will stake much more frequently.
Spot on! That is *exactly* me Smiley

To override completely, close the wallet and edit the kryptkoin.conf, add reservebalance=AMOUNT-HERE

Example:

reservebalance=50000

And it will stop any coins staking even when the wallet is unlocked.
Next time... Smiley Thanks! Saving this article in my QT folder!!

I've updated the download link on the site (although it's also in the OP).

And for anyone needing to sync, I've also updated the bootstrap file today to block 915590.

Great!!! I'll add my torrent a bit later too... Just in case Smiley

great to see you're still active Smiley
Amen Smiley

I don't understand why it's taking 10-15 mins between transactions!

Because of the minimum stake age of 3 hours, coin control is very important to consolidate blocks, I normally keep each address under 100.
I'm not sure, but I remember something like 17000 for the biggest group...?

Wallet itself is non-responding each time. Plenty of CPU to spare (I even gave the process realtime priority), same for RAM. Bottleneck might be hard drive, but I ain't noticing many problems otherwise. By the time the GUI responds again, the transaction itself is already confirmed. OR failed, with the double-spending error as a result ;p

Thank you for all the explanations... I hope it helps others too!

If you've been staking for a long time without using the coin control, it would have split your KTK into lots of smaller and smaller blocks. For the network that's good, but for a user it's very important to use the coin control on a regular basis to avoid hundreds of blocks being created in a single address.

For reference I just checked the wallet.dat file for the bounty wallet and is 17+ mb (9200 transactions).

I noticed you mentioned:

Spendable: 46961.844307 KTK
Stake: 68.915082 KTK

The KTK staking could be part of multiple addresses in your wallet, so when you try to send maybe that is causing the error. If you simply select the checkbox for one address in coin control it will highlight all blocks, but if part of it is staking it will return an error.

First off: great to see you're still active Smiley

I might have found the reason why KryptKoin wallet responded so sluggish for me... My wallet grew to over 18 MB big... So I created a fresh wallet and thought to send all my funds into the fresh new one.

But I cannot get coins out! Sad

Spendable: 46961.844307 KTK
Stake: 68.915082 KTK

Tried to send anything between 10k and 46k but... Error sending.

I now tried 1000 - that seems to work! Is there a max transaction size...?

Also: from the website I could get QT v 1.5.2 - but wallet I'm running is newer, 1.5.5... Time to update website? Smiley

Anyways,

Peace!

Because of the minimum stake age of 3 hours, coin control is very important to consolidate blocks, I normally keep each address under 100.

I had this problem too. I believe it is because when you stake it splits your coins into two transactions (to speed up network so you can create more blocks). Eventually there is too many transactions to join for the send and it fails.

Thanks for confirming. It's a big pita though Sad Every transaction takes a good 10 minute to even 15 minutes before I can do the next transaction of 2k... Still 18k to go! Smiley

And for the stats... 33056  transactions give a wallet.dat size of 32.4 MB. Before my transfers today it was 'only' 18.2 MB...  Maybe time to re-tune the PoS for this one? It's by far the LARGEST wallet I have in my collection! And almost duplicating in size overnight... Crazy! XD Though I've been with them from the very first day, so my wallet had time to grow... ;-)

Post-edit Smiley I enabled advanced control features, selected all coin groups (about 8 of them) and hoped I could successfully send the remainders of my KTKs in one go... One hour later, I still haven't got anything to show for. Back to 2k** payments I suppose. Sigh.

**
1500 now... 1400, 1200... ARGH! 1100; is it going Limits on my ass?? This is one way to support miners Smiley Forget 1000 and 900,  only 800 by now. 700!! Sad 600, 500 (only 1173 total left, but still up to 15 minutes to push a payment through...), 400 (672 total left): rejected (old wallet, not marked as sent error). (repairwallet fix twice). Send 400, again the sent error (672 total). (repairwallet fix twice, now: 271 left). Send remaining 270, again the sent error. (repairwallet fix twice, 0,85 KTK left! But coin control still believes it has 271... Restarted the wallet, another repairwallet: all ok, 271 total). This keeps cycling between almost no funds, 70 and 270 spendable :/ But whenever I pay... Error! Seems to be because some transactions didn't get confirmed... (?) I finally got last payment out... At only a few percent of the miners fee I had to pay up until now...! (0,x vs 0.01 now). This was 10 hours of my life I wished I could have spent differently ;p

Post-edit: Ok, I now could send 2000. Let's go even bigger in the next step Smiley Though my previous transaction which was 1000 as far as I know, now shows up as 2000 too... I'll double check that later. First I'll try to send the remaining 46290...

Post-edit: Ok, 46k gave the old error again:
"Error: Transaction creation failed. OK"
Testing 5k next (damn, the wallet is slow to respond :/)

Post-edit: Ok, 5k went through. Testing 10k next. 1 of the 2 "2000" payments did not get through though... Curious how that's gonna be handled Sad

Post-edit: 10k failed. 9k failed. 8k failed. 7k failed. 6k failed. 5k works. Ok, 7 more payments and I should be close to zero. Strange stuff :/

Post-edit: a couple of 5k payments went through but now new payments now trigger the failed creation error. Next batch: 4k payments. Straaaange ;p

Post-edit: 1 4K payment could be done. Next: 3k, only once. Back 2 2k payments! ;-(
