You were stuck at block 271k, I updated the .dat file (after seeing your post) to 576k so it wouldn't take much to sync!

that seems to be normal fuding practice in BTT forum. Seen a lot of that in XBoT topic, where Dev practically gave up on posting at all being overflown by fuders.
The only option is to ignore such posts and report them to be deleted.
