how much kryptcoins do we need to have mature coins?

they need to be in your wallet for a minimum of 3 hours before they mature, the more you have the better

Unfortunately I have also experienced the same wallet issues being reported here. I tried a couple of times but every time it would freeze at a certain point so even if I let it run overnight, there would be no progress.
Is there a way we can prepare a fresh download of the blockchain to make it easier for people to sync? I saw someone mention that the current blockchain that's available to download and import is 2 months old.

Wallet is not synching at all... Having connections.. But stops downloading for ages.
cannot connect here too... and we expect to have a market place with non working wallet??
I had the same problem a few days ago. I use an old PC to run KTK wallet. It has AMD Athlon 3000 (1.8GHz) and 1.5GB Ram, with Win7 Ultimate! I ran the wallet after a week delay, it had connections but didn't sync. I deleted every file in KryptKoin folder (in Roaming folder) except wallet.dat (of course) and blk0001.dat. Renamed blk0001.dat to bootstrap.dat. Ran the wallet. It took much time to start, but now it works fine. I ran it a few minutes ago again, it took about 4 min to load (it's an old PC after all) and it's synced now.

I bunch mine all every few days. Even when it is 1 block it is still slower then most wallets. But it has been acceptable and I know the dev will get there eventually. Running a coin take a lot of work. He is still here and working so that shows he is not willing to give up on this coin. That is a very rare thing.
with the ammount of non working wallets, there should be 3mil on bittrex and lets say another 2mil on working wallets... the rest of them are useless

Well I have over 1 million and my wallet works. It is a little slow at launch and catching up but it works and once sync'd works great.

the problem is that i have a fair amount of coins (over 30k for the MP), on the wallet, and i cannot access them... how i am i supposed to support the MP once it launches?
The only issue I have with the KTK wallet is it takes more power then others to open and run. So it does stick for a bit when you open and to catch up. I have just dealt with these issues because if you wait they will solve. (at least for me) The developer is busy trying to get the MP out so I am sure he wil focus on making the wallet better next. It is still usable for me.
That's fine, I am just pointing out that issues because it's been a while since I've forged and I would like to get back to forging.

mine has always been useable, I am using an ssd and an old 630 amd core 4, it's a bit slow once the blocks get down to stupid amounts but I tend to bunch them up once a week now.
Dev has said he will look at the wallet as the transactions aren't the most recent on the front screen either.

So I would like to point out something that I noticed while I was forging with the wallet unlocked.
Every time, with the newest version, I try to forge, my CPU starts going crazy and it starts overheating. This only happens with the KTK client. The wallet even freezes when I try to open it in the beginning and after about 5 minutes it finally unfreezes and opens.

i erased everything, restarted... downloaded the blockhaing from the link. which its 2 months old...
and still nothing...
Weird! I take it you erased everything apart from your wallet yes? and you're using 1.5.5.0.
