Marketplace Update
Unfortunately I underestimated the time needed to finish, and won't have it ready by tomorrow. I'll continue working and post a status update on Thurs/Fri, now until then it gives me a solid 3-4 days to work on it.
Very sorry peeps, hate to let everyone down but need to be sure it's not a half-assed job and actually working 100% before anyone starts using the service.

I do and will earn a profit from the MP, I'm no different in that respect! 
But I don't want to dilute the KTK holders profit share (20.4%), I'll take a cut from the remaining %.
I wanted to discuss about it earlier, but I forgot.
First of all, stating that you don't want to receive profit, makes you different from a lot of devs out there, who just think about their gain.
Secondly, since you received just one share of KTK at launch, just like anyone else, and you bought the remaining amount that you own, you definitely deserve to earn profit too, just like others.
I consider two personalities for you, KTK dev and a KTK holder.

We still have a large amount in the bounty pot, and I have my KTK but in both instances they won't be registered for the KTK holders (20.4%) profit share.
Both together is around 1.5M, so straight away KTK holders will get a boost on the % share. I don't think it would be fair to give 20.4% and then claw some back from my own stack and the bounty pot!

I know it's a pain but have you tried downloafing the blockchain again? I had to do this on several coins, most recently after a windows update.
I can't help you with Ubuntu, never used it, sorry
Maybe one of the other community guys can help you out. Have you tried sending a PM to the Dev?

I deleted every file in KryptKoin folder (in Roaming folder) except wallet.dat (of course) and blk0001.dat. Renamed blk0001.dat to bootstrap.dat. Ran the wallet. It took much time to start, but now it works fine.
