Bounty programs are asking bounty hunters to do KYC before they are paid for work done . What do you think of this development.
I think that's a pretty positive sign because if a bounty project program has certain KYCs for bounty hunters to do this, I see bounty hunters taking at least 10 The bonus project to get maximum profit with your strength, there are many people who want to be rich quick should join more then the more profitable.

This is very good if it gets significant development, because it will avoid multiple accounts per person

Even if you use multi accounts you still have to do the week so your excuse is crap. Stop posting such rubbish.

Any ICO asking for KYC from bounty hunter are just been fraudulent especially when that wasn't part of requirements from the on set in joining such campaign. Bounty hunter have not exchange money,  why should anyone deny bounty hunter there payment?

I also don't understand why we should pass KYC checks. In crypto money world, everyone wants to stay anonymous, and I'm not sure that our data will be kept safe.
Yes, I am also categorically against KYC because I want to be anonymous, perhaps anonymity is the main quality of the crypto currency that attracted me. Therefore, it is especially absurd to ask for my documents, although the team itself often remains under the cover of anonymity.  Sad

Let us start a name and shame thread.

I want to name and shame Nucleus.vision

Nucleus.vision asked after the bounty for KYC. They have no legal authority to ask for KYC and the team is unknown

Nucleus.vision could be anyone and we will never know who has our money yet we must tell them who we are ?? Sorry it works the other way around.
You want peoples money then you need to tell them who you are not the other way around.

Please comment about it on their bounty thread here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/1m-bountyico-nucleusvision-the-future-of-iotretail-1m-bounty-2461585

If you did bounty for them replace your tweets with negative one about the dishonesty of the company.

KYC was never an issue till a few people started using it and was not asked before and only asked after the bounty. SHAME ON YOU NUCLEOS.VISION

I don't give my personal data to unknown entity: most of ICO don't offer any any guarantee of seriousness: how do I know that they won't sell my data on the black market?
Do you have an idea about what a bad guy can do with your personal data AND a scan of your passport?

I don't like that.
The worst case is that I was told to do KYC after the bounty campaign is over.
I would definitely not participate the bounty campaign if I had known it earlier.
Did that actually happened? Because it would sucks a lot, for me the KYC is not a big problem but we have the right to know in advance if wa have to do it or not, and then we can decide to proceed or forget about that bounty.

Yes, this has already happened. Of the last campaigns in which I participated, there are three projects that has requested the KYC once the campaign finished. And in two other projects, the campaign has ended and we have been told that they will inform us later about whether there is KYC or not.

I think the same as you. If a project wants to ask for the KYC, it's in its right to do it. But we also have the right to know in advance if we have to do it or not, to decide if we want to participate in the bounty campaign or not.

Bounty hunters do not need this type of a procedure. But i also met few cases that asking KYC documents for bounties and airdrops. But it is very dangerous for giving KYC documents for them. The main reason is some Bounties and ICO's are scams and if we submit our ID documents to them that will cause a huge issue in future. So we should more vigilant before we send any KYC documents to anyone.

Bad precedence these practices are setting. It becomes unbecoming when we are toss about. We are supposed to be the pace setters in this technological revolution. We are supposed to make the rules not them.

Some one contacts me to market his products and then request for my ID. Is that what would drive the marketing?

Wrong n bad.

Bounties should declare right from the start if they will implement kyc or not because I've heard that some bounties announce it on the end so they'll pay less than the final computation. I also won't join those KYC type bounties for the sake of my security.

I do not know what problems the KYC decides with regard to bounty hunters. Scammers were faking documents and will continue to do so. But honest people get additional problems when registering. Plus I really do not want to lose my right to anonymity. For the sake of this right, many have come to this sphere.

KYC is very disturbing and, at bounty level, completely meaningless.
I understand that there is the need to avoid multiple signatures, but I think that it's not necessary.
Btw, is someone ask for my identity, it's my right to ask HIM for his identity: actually, who knows in which hands my personal data will arrive?

for the survival of the crypto business world the KYC registration cant be avoided by most ICOs. These requirements r necessary for the protection of the investors, that's what they say. I think the process is not optional to bounty hunters...

KYC should be a must for bounty hunters, It might get lower the bounty scammers.
But there're lots of people using fake ID's to  scam people.

The process is very expensive and who is going to pay for it? I am hunting bounty to get money not to spend it and the campaign would not be able to afford it.

it may be an idea to block multiple accounts
but I don't like the idea of someone holding my personal information.
