Hello,

I just launched my new website. https://www.l0tt0.com
The l0tt0.com's representative in Bitcointalk should consider to add some keywords to the topic description like what games, products they have.

Currently it is very simple "l0tt0.com" and if I am a guest, I don't know what type of games on the l0tt0.com.

Like l0tt0.com - Lottery games on Bitcoin: Quick Pick, Line Bingo, High Low

it would be just silly to start with 20... the only reason to do that is to be loud.. i'm not loud, i'm strategic and in this for the long haul. ...time and pressure.
Marketing requires budget to spend wisely. If you do not have a budget for 20 or even more then there is no point to go for that. Quickly you will run out of funding and your business will be stuck.  On the other hand, projects who are spending 10K+ or even some unbelievable amounts do not mean they are not strategic. You started with five members, because you feel that's best for you. I don't think anyone should ask any question about it.

Putting budget aside, I personally feel like going all out immediately when the website just launched for the public might not be a good idea. Plus, I'd prefer quality over quantity when it comes to participants.
I agree with the ops of the measures taken as regards to the promotion and number of participants,  good enough to know that the team have a long-term plan for the promotion which is good enough for long-term visibility and also the quality of the participants also matters though,  so the most important thing for the team is in proper budgeting and quality development along the line.

It's good enough that some participants in the campaign are already trying out the games on the site and in no time we should be seeing reviews about the platform.

Well, I think his approach of going with 5 participants is okay in the initial stages of the site. It's a great strategy to begin with few participants, and when some extra games and features are added in the site then it would make more sense to go with higher number of participants. I'm quite sure that budget isn't an issue for the owner of the site, it's just part of his strategy to begin with low number of participants.

As a current participant of the campaign I could proudly say that they are doing a lot for the campaign and its participants, and their way of communication and handling of campaign is very professional. The OP is truly an awesome person, and I'm quite sure that he will improve the site in future by adding new features and games. It takes time to build and improve a new site, and launching of campaign in initial stages is a unique way that only l0tt0.com team is doing which is truly unique like their site.
Whether they are starting with 5 or 20 participants it none of our business. Its their budget or allocation that had been said. Why people are still making up discussions on how a signature campaign should be?

Casino owners or gambling sites are aware on what they've been doing. Some would really be just be having that test phase when it comes to marketing and not really having  that all in.
They would see if ever there's some significant relevance of their marketing that they had launched. 5 campaign participants is still that considerable and thats according into their preference.
We've seen some companies or platforms in the fast who did make out that full blast marketing on initial weeks but it did only last up for a few weeks and then been stopped because
it wasnt really that sustainable and getting poor results. Hope that this one would really be able to cope up and survive.

Well their pattern of advertising and marketing is not an aggressive one maybe they choose that way as s result of their budget but from experience, I think it would not take them anywhere as it would have no effect on their campaign and project as a whole.
Just as you have opined, it needs more participants to create awareness for people to know what their project is all about. This would touch every part of the platform including local boards too.
I will suggest the team looks into this otherwise they would just be wasting resources when they are not being able to get the attention of the masses  as a result of their campaign funds which is nothing compared to others. If truly they want to grow, they should do the needful as regards their signature campaign.

I've got it covered. Thanks.

I prefer the path that requires wielding a machette.

Well, I hope you're not too serious about that. It's a tough way to make a living. Wink

Now, back to the main topic. I noticed that you started a signature campaign, but in my opinion, it might be a bit premature. As you mentioned earlier, this is more of a soft launch, and it appears that there are still areas that require improvement. If I may offer a suggestion, perhaps a review campaign would be more appropriate at this stage? This way, you would get valuable feedback and insights to further improve your gambling website.

the site and the games seemed innovative to me, but the question is the following: before creating your gambling site, did you do any research to find out if there is a lot of demand for games of this type? because what I have observed over the years is that people are more interested in dice games, sots, sports betting, card games, but have no interest in lottery games, many lottery sites have already appeared in this forum and in the last ones years I don't see the ann thread of these lottery sites having any active comments

this shows that people, despite putting money into gambling, something that depends on luck, they don't put money on lottery games, which is also something that depends on luck, maybe they don't put money on the lottery because they look at the lottery as something very harder for them to earn money compared to slot games or sports betting. anyway I believe that with your signature campaign running we will have a good idea if these lottery games have really attracted people's attention or not. Do you intend to do some kind of contest and promotions? this has also helped a lot in marketing
Sometimes you have to create the demand in order to open up a new market. I can see this concept realized in the l0tt0.com gambling site that OP is advertising. Since as of now there’s no site that does the same thing as him, the market never got an opportunity to assess of whether this is something that they want or not. And with that being said if the execution of this project goes well, and if Dewez plays his cards right we might see this becoming the next big thing in crypto.

So it  doesn’t always have to be about “is there demand for this” sometimes you have to take that step forward and actually create the market to cater to people.

Well said.. I prefer the path that requires wielding a machette. I like your style Casdinyard.

I cant blame out on why there are people who would be saying up those words or things about a certain new sites but having that lottery kind of games been offered which we arent that blind on not to see wayback

on how these lottery sites ended up. Its true that if this one is really be having that well marketed and advertised site then it might really be making up some different story or ending not like into those past
same lottery based websites that we've seen in the past. So good luck to Lotto.com to be succeesful. There arent actually lottery based  websites that we do have today which is mostly been focused
on this type of game. Good thing that they do have other variant not only just limited to lottery but also having those other types as well.

Making some expansion just like other websites been doing? Possible but its too early to say or mention about this stuff.

OP I was wondering if your lotto got all  it takes to operate as I did a search for your license. I did not see anything of that nature then what confidence do you think members here would have doing anything with your lotto.
I have no idea of this question has been asked by anybody but I am still curious to ask as well. Do you require KYC? What is the minimum age limit to take part in the lotto?
Are there restrictions for countries from taking part in the lotto game?
Please do well to answer these questions as they are very important to know.
As far as I know,  I think this casino will not be different from the many others we have around the forum unless for their mode of games which is based on only lottery without other gambling games such as dice,  slot and others.

I am sure a license may not be available since I didn't see them mention that on the website.

License and restrictions are my major concerns because one can not deposit and have a big win and all of a suden, they are told that they are not eligible for the win as a result of their country ip or possibly they start demanding for KYC as a result of the fear of paying out a huge some of money which is not a good one.for their entity as a whole.

A License doesn't stop cheap bastards from being cheap bastards.. But I kinda hear you. Anyway, we have no restictions.. I'll be moving it to CR.. and their only restriction is to CR citizens, oddly enough.

Lucky me, I won today $50 playing with only $1 forth of Bitcoin!  Grin
Line Bingo is my new favorite game on l0tt0 website, but maybe it would be good to add some optional sound effects and music.
I didn't test how withdrawal is working but I plan to do it during this weekend when I have more free time.

Being used to provably fair, I agree it would be best if the results could be verified reliably. Unfortunately nothing comes to my mind how to keep the current, unique idea, but with provably fair results. I think it'd atleast be cool if we could reliably view results from Coinmarketcap and Coingecko.
Maybe it is best not to call it provably fair if users cant verify that.
Maybe you could use Tradingview data that is more precise, but I would like to see some data from bitcoin blockhain used that can be verified.

One thing I considered: What about using these decentralized exchanges / swap sites like Uniswap?
I dont think this is really decentralized website and it has nothing to do with bitcoin.

for now, this kind of venture doesn't need a license for the time being. they are just starting and maybe trying to check the waters here. if they won't get much interest, they can easily abandon this platform. so for now, don't expect that they will pay for their gambling license.
the retro feel for a site, it seems to me that they won't last on this business.

Since we only accept btc and payout in btc- we aren't a money service company. therefore it's perfectly legal to opertate in the US, since bitcoin is not a regulated currency- and the gambling act only restricts gambling to regulated currencies, like the USD. With that said, I have incorporated offshore and will be licensed in the upcoming months. It's not cheap..
So for now the site is owned and operated under a US corporation. You must be 18+. And again, KYC only comes into play when you are tapped into the banking world, ie take cash deposits. Although, that's a gray area still.

In all honestly, it's the wild west right now. The legislation is too slow and our current laws were not ready for a globally adopted unregulated currency, like bitcoin. This is the example my lawyer gave me... If you owned a bar (in a state where gambling was illegal), you could have a slot machine that accepted gumballs, and paid out in gumballs. The machine it self isn't illegal.. But that all changes when It accepts regulated currency, ie quarters. Now.. gumballs (like btc) do have a market value... And some states do have gambling laws that go further than Federal Law, which prohibits gambling of anything of value. But as you can imagine, that's a hard law to enforce, and state AG's have bigger problems. So again, for now, I'm running it within the US, but will move it offshore and get a license soon.

A quote from my lawyer... "It's all a matter of risk and the size of your balls." (I'm quoting him, but not legally quoting him- since he told me not to. heh)

Now, what does this mean to you- the player? Nothing. You are not doing anything more illegal playing on my site than say stake. It's all about the country/state you live in. If you feel comfortable (legally) playing at other casinos, you should feel the same playing at mine.

I hope that answers your question.

I've seen online casinos cheat. If you're honest, there's absolutely no reason to make people doubt your honesty if you can make it provably fair.

Let me come up with some initial ideas, and i'll make that post and link to it here. If showing a history isn't enough, i'm more than willing to show the results i get- and the addition.
