So Girona lost today and got sent off from the Copa del rey competition. I was big on Girona winning the tie against Malorca until I saw that 3-0 thumping of Girona in the first half. I went on X and everyone was in disbelief that Girona was on the receiving end considering the fact that they demolished Sevilla on Sunday.

Girona's loss simply means they have only the La liga title now to contend for. It's definitely going to be interesting times in the la liga ahead. I'm just glad I had no pre-match bet on Girona even though I wanted to.
