You were right about the difficulty of the game.

Real Madrid really struggled quite much but like you said it must be due to fatigue. Otherwise there is just no way Almeria can be a competitive opponent for Real Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu. When Almeria got 2-0 ahead I was still astonished though. Because I believed it was too much anyway.

But thankfully there was a much more different Real Madrid in the second half. After doing a really hard work there was the comeback to 3-2. Grin

Bellingham also played a big role in this comeback by a goal and an assist. He could have scored even two goals if it wasn't disallowed. The way Real Madrid won was so dramatic too as the winning goal came in the final moments.

Great performance by Barcelona and I think they deserved the win in my opinion,they were leading 0-2 and they started to calm their nerves,in that exact moment Betis managed to score 2 goals in very few minutes and equalize,when that happened I thought Barcelona would never win the game anymore.The surprise,the good surprise was that Barcelona continued to fight heavily in that game and that in the end in the last minutes of the game they were rewarded with 2 goals for their great efforts.

Girona now needs to win this to pass Madrid with one point and of course Real Madrid has one game less so anything can happen but Girona needs to win their games until the end of the La Liga to hope for a fairy tale for them.

At least, when Betis managed to score two goals and equalize the score become 2-2, the result like that made me pessimistic about Barcelona who were likely to fail to win this match. But yes, the reality is that Barcelona still managed to score another goal in the last minute and ya, it was a dramatic win because scoring a goal in the 90th minute like that requires a high level of luck as well. I thought that this match would end in a draw but Xavi's squad seemed to be still trying hard to get a win. Joao Felix scored the third goal and at the same time opened up hope again in this away match and even though Barcelona was certain to win, Ferran Torres recorded a hat trick in this match, making the score 2-4. A late victory that was even very difficult to predict and again Barcelona had to experience difficult times before they could win.

This is what Barcelona should do, indeed with Joao as a winger this makes them stronger but with only a 1 season loan contract honestly this becomes a little difficult if the next season they lose and giving Feran a chance in the midst of an injured Gavi is certainly a good result because at least there is another option if in the end Barcelona has difficulty signing Joao due to financial limitations.

But this game was much closer than the result says in the end. Again Lewandowski failed to score in this game and I think Xavi is going to lose patience soon. I don't think that Barcelona is very interested in keeping him beyond the upcoming summer transfer window. I think in summer they could ask for a transfer fee for the last time?
