I feel like Girona has a serious chance to finish the league at the top, despite their manager being pessimistic about their title chances. They play great, even if they fall behind they don't change their usual game plan and trust the process.
Dovbyk is a beast. He's the best Ukrainian player I've seen since Shevchenko. That 6 minute hat-trick was something else. This season is very special for Girona. I enjoy watching them more than Barcelona. Normally teams that start like this get stuck somewhere, but that doesn't seem to be the case with Girona. They should go for the title.
Girona is a strong team now different from last season they grew significantly to match Real Madrid now even though you say the coach is pessimistic for the title but I believe Girona still has a chance for it, but this is still a long match it is still difficult to guess but Girona will not be out of the top 4 of LaLiga.
Would you say Dovbyk's 6-minute hat trick was the fastest time ever? He seems to be a confident striker for his club and is now the LaLiga's provisional top scorer, equaling Jude Bellingham.
Imagine if he is the top scorer until the end and Girona win this season, then he has a lot of awards but it's too early to say that, what is clear is that Dovbyk will be increasingly hunted by other clubs especially with his prolific goals.
I don't think anyone expected that Girona would make it this far because as we know, Girona is just a mediocre team that only finished in 10th place last season, but this season they are really performing crazily and become a dark horse in La Liga.
It seems I can understand why the Girona coach feels pessimistic about their chances in the title race because, with the composition of players they have, which is not as luxurious as Real Madrid or Barcelona, of course, it will be quite difficult for Girona to maintain their consistency if it turns out they are facing fatigue or even injury.
But still, even though there is a sense of pessimism, that doesn't mean Girona will give up on the chances they currently have and I think if they can continue to play without the burden of becoming champions, they will get good achievements (at least they will get a ticket to the Champions League next season).
