I think that in the second half of the season Girona will not be much different, they can be stable because they only participate in domestic competitions. This means that their challenge to maintain their position is not as much as Madrid, Barcelona and ATM, which have more matches scheduled.
There are high expetctations now because with Girona current performance at least they can continue to provide surprises until the end of the season, but this will not be easy to achieve because in the end this has to be done with proof that they have to defend.
Currently Girona situation is really in the spotlight and I think that is a very good thing for them because after all, with a successful half of the season as the most productive club in La Liga and succeeding in sticking with Madrid at the top standings with the same point.
