This season's Girona climb is incredible. Since I've been following their games, its amazing how they've competed with the big leagues despite lacking depth like Real Madrid or Barcelona. Their constant performance against tougher opponents has been fun to see. They now think staying in the top 4 is possible. Although Girona's roster isnt as talented as Manchester City's, the City Football Group's influence is clear in their success. This shows that big names arent necessarily needed to create headlines in the league.

Its possible to win the title, but its hard. They face more experienced high-pressure teams. What if they can keep shocking us and preserve their form? If Girona wins LaLiga, it may be historic. Girona shows that football's volatility is its beauty.

Xavi has actually lost a way to improve the team, therefore in the last match he criticized his own players quite harshly. I even assume that Xavi doesn't feel comfortable managing Barcelona anymore. I agree completely with your point of view, xavi is in no way the problem Barcelona has currently, and changing him will in no way improve Barcelona any better, they will just have to start all over again getting use to the new coach and that luxury of time is what they don't have as the season has gone halfway already if they must change coach it should be after this season.

Barcelona over the years have experienced good growth and development under xavi even with little financial capacity, he has been able to manage the available players and groomed them into becoming the kind of players who has help the team well enough, he even got some players on loan especially Felix which happens to be the most recent who is given them the kind of results they really desire to see. If there's enough finance for xavi to be able to run the team I'm very certain he will be able to get the kind of players he will be able to work with and get the desired results the team desires.

Xavi Hernandez will try to make things right when the second half of the season begins. Barcelona are good at giving time to their legends. A good example is Koeman who was worst than Xavi Hernandez, regardless of the poor performance and results he was still backed up by the management and given time to fix the club. Xavi is surely one of the best man who is doing impressive work and not allowing thing gone from bad to worse but still now it's time for bringing fresh legs and quality which bring back golden days for them with know second half and knock out stage are also having pressure, and they need to overcome with this all otherwise we have them at the level of Chelsea and Manchester United as well.

In terms of the quality of players, the Girona team for a fact can't match the players in Real Madrid,  Barcelona or even Atletico Madrid but how they've managed to deliver the kind of impressive performance that's left them in the second position of the Spanish La Liga table after playing 18 matches  is still a surprise to many football fans across the globe. The team has not been relying on individual brilliance to get theirs results this season rather they've been playing excellently well with their harmonious team football and that's why they are currently in the second position of the Spanish league.

For a team to be as consistent as Girona have been in the Spanish league till the end of the first half of the league shows how determined they are to end the season with league title and that's why I'm absolutely  shocked that someone is still not considering them as a serious contender for the Spanish La Liga title.  Girona were promoted back to the Spanish league last season and were able to finish in the 10th position of the league table so I wouldn't be too surprised if they can do the unthinkable by lifting the Spanish La Liga title at the end of the season.  If they can have the same number of points with Real Madrid at this time of the season in the top of the league table, I think they can still  win the league at the end of the season. Real Madrid without doubt has better  chance than Girona because of the quality of players in their set up but that doesn't mean that Girona can't go on to win the Spanish La Liga title.
