Atetico Madrid and Barcelona are now 7 points clear of Real Madrid and Girona, which is not a good gap as it will be difficult to catch up. So far I haven't seen a decline in Girona, which is a good sign, but I don't know what the future holds, whether they'll be able to maintain their current form or even do better, or if they'll have to go downhill. Girona have the advantage in terms of schedule, as they're not in European competition and they're only in the Copa del Rey rather than the main competition, La Liga. That works in their favor as they can maintain their fitness better than the 3 teams in the top 4.

Basically Atletico are not bad at all at the moment although yes, the reality is that Atletico have a 7 point difference with Real Madrid and Girona in 1st and 2nd place but anyway, the reality is that Atletico are also in third place right now and even Atletico still above Barcelona despite only goal difference. I don't think it's too much to expect more of Atletico or Barcelona's rivalry because after all at the moment it's 7 points difference but with Girona's status now although it's very good but the situation is still not safe actually so when talking about opportunities with a very long time because we are only in the middle of the season actually the chance is still very much there in this case.

The performance difference that Atletico is showing is also very good because after all if we compare their current performance with last season we definitely know what to say because Atletico is playing more improved or better than before.

We just have to wait about what will happen in the middle of the season until the end of the season and I'm sure the competition will be more interesting by involving several clubs not just 2 clubs like now.

That is quite an early judgment call here. I am with you that they are too hectic, too inconsistent, but I do think that Atletico Madrid is a team that can improve their game over time within the season. The more there is at stake for them, the better they can get. They have had seasons like that in the past. Since they can play quite a unique strategy, it is never a please to play against them. They are not as strong as they used to be when they frequently made it into the semifinals of the Champions League, but assuming they have no chance to win anything, I am not so sure about that. Inter is my favorite when Atletico faces them, but it is still quite a high level encounter.

We'll definitely get to see about that next year as they'll be facing Girona who are right above them on the La Liga standing. They was very explosive yesterday and played good Football, I was not just happy with the reckless tackle from Soyunku that was too aggressive.
I was hoping he'll escape from the booking but VAR couldn't spare him at all. God knows I want Girona to win but I'll be neutral during that game.

Did anybody notice improvement with how Sevilla played as of yesterday?Am I the only one that got to notice Quique Sanchez Flores has got a hand innit?
They're three points above relegation but will definitely rise up with this performance I'm seeing.
