Real Madrid 1.50
Barcelona Fc 4.90
Girona 5.88
Atlético Madrid 9.80
Well I don't know why there is a big gap between Real Madrid and Barcelona but also Girona. I can understand that Girona is a new club among the classic top teams so there is doubts about their consistency the whole season and I assume people are assuming they will drop at any point even though they were able to defeat Barcelona.
For Atletico Madrid, okay they are winning and sometimes missing, they will be among top 4 most likely but not the first thing season in my opinion.
For Barcelona, they are having bad moments but they should return winning again and fight for the first spot along with Real Madrid and Girona. 5 points gap between Real Madrid and Barcelona are nothing with 22 games left to play.
I will go for Real Madrid 2.5, Barcelona 3, Girona 3.5 and Atletico Madrid 4.5. I just put Girona as third choice but I would like to see them winning La Liga title this season!
Have you forgotten the result of the head-to-head meeting between Girona and Real Madrid? 3-0 in favor of Real Madrid. And this was an away game for Real, which means Girona will still have to somehow try to cope with the game at the Santiago Bernabeu if it wants to claim something. These odds reflect how likely this is
And let’s not forget that Real Madrid have been playing almost the entire season with a suboptimal lineup - all the time some of the top players are injured. This means that Real Madrid have great potential to dramatically improve their game when they return to action. Does Girona, which is supposedly playing at its best, have such potential? Unlikely. Therefore, you are wrong to think that the coefficient for Real should be 2.5, in fact, 1.5 is even generous, they are the clear favorites.
The news says that Barcelona management is negotiating with Girona head coach Michel. If they are successful, he will lead Barcelona in the summer, and if Xavi is fired earlier (which is quite likely given the weak results), then Rafael Marquez will be the interim coach (until the summer). On the one hand, I think Xavi is a weak coach and this is a smart decision - in the end he had time to prove himself, but overall he failed. On the other hand, will any other coach be able to correct Barcelona's situation, given that its problems lie not only in the game? In any case, the restructuring in Barcelona continues and there is no end in sight.
