Athletic Bilbao had a good preparation for their opponent. They scored one goal after another in the first half and that was enough to win the game. They even managed to go 1-0 up in the 2nd minute. This season is very competitive and every team has the potential to beat each other. That's why we shouldn't be surprised by any result and Villareal will take some time to recover. Rayo Vallecano's defense was the main problem for Real Madrid in the match which ended in a goalless draw. Girona's performances this season have been astounding. This team is playing great in every match. We thought the Girona team would lose the truck in week 8/10 and not be at the top of the table. Girona players are able to score a lot of goals. And this is why the team's performance is so consistent.

Both Madrid and Barcelona have the potential to top the points table. And Barcelona and Real Madrid are still favorites to win the title. There is no doubt that Girona are playing very well. Even so, the team is not considered the favorite for the La Loge League title. This is because it is very difficult for teams like Girona to maintain consistent good performances throughout the season.

Basically, Real Madrid still has a chance to return to the top of the LaLiga standings this seasons,and although there is notdefinite guarantee for Girona to be able to maintain for top positition in the LaLiga standing. But atleast,if for example Girona is able to consistently get 3points in every match throughout this season, then this result will also keep Girona strong at the top of the standing . But ya, I also aware that we will ofcourse agree that Girona will also fall later but if not, then of course Girona will probably succeed this season at least to finish in the top four in the La Liga standings.

Girona topping with just two points, it doesn't send any message to the elite teams because there's certainly no big gaps. Real Madrid is only having a couple of problems in league games, but they should be able recuperate completely. Girona would make the most of the time they have because they have a long way to head out. We've all seen how these regular teams compete in La Liga. Girona is only competitive for a limited period of time, but they are not in a position to weigh the tremendous quantity of energy. I have no doubt that Real Madrid will be able to return to their former glory in no time.

Real Madrid's luck was very bad in this match and that's why the match ended in a 0-0 draw. However, Real Madrid's position in La Liga is still very good. However, Girona have been a bit of a challenger for Real Madrid. Girona are just two points ahead of Real Madrid so it won't be too challenging for Real Madrid to overcome. I think bringing a new striker is Madrid's main plan. but Madrid now adopt a philosophy; "signing player that's perfect fit to team or never". They are no longer signing just good talent or big big name. I think that's why madrid havent signed a new striker till now.

it's rumoured that madrid tried to sign Darwin Nunez, but their quota for non-EU players was full, so they couldnt sign him, and last summer they couldnt find a striker who fits to their system. I think Madrid are working on scouting strikers for their next signing, they know that no one will reject their offer because madrid are biggest club in the world.
