Because they have only got 3 wins in 12 matches. And the rest are 6 defeats and 3 draws.

But what was even more surprising happened in the Real Madrid vs Rayo match. But things like this sometimes happen quite often where the favorite team is unable to score goals and can only share points. It's just that usually Real Madrid always performs better in front of its own fans. But in this match, too many opportunities were wasted. Even though I am really looking forward to Bellingham scoring another goal in this match. Rayo really made a pretty solid defense. It's normal to say Girona will not be able to maintain their good form but even they can not win La Liga, can not end this season in top four of La Liga, this season will be already amazing for them. They will have to focus on rest matches of the first half of season and try to complete their mission to avoid delegation in this season. When they complete this task, they can start to think of bigger target, higher ending position in this season. A position that allows them to join either UEFA Conference League or Europa League in a next season will be great enough for Girona.

Girona have won 10 games, 1D and 1L which is usually a different stats for other mediocre teams. Villareal after selling some of their key players in the transfer market is not in good form this season, they are finding it hard to be consistent in their performance s a result of low quality squad; unlike last season which they have players that are very good and have made the team competitive in the Laliga. I hope they can sign more players during the January transfer window to give the squad more confidence to see if they can qualify for Europa League or Conference League.

Athletic Bilbao is on form this season, they climbed to the fifth position in the league after their win against Villareal even though they have been statistically playing very well against them, winning two matches and drew two in the last five matches they played together.

Jude Bellingham is one of the best signings this summer, he's present is important for Los Blancos and he has achieved quite some good records in Santiago Bernabéu.
